Of course, not everyone was happy about Tuesday night's outcome. As election results rolled in and McCain conceded in Phoenix and Obama gave his victory speech in Chicago, Republican supporters around the country struggled to absorb the news. See their reactions below.

Look at the photo #8. The moose heads mounted on the wall watching the television screen and seeing the hunting babe Palin crying are priceless. I am sure Moose heads feel vindicated.

While I did not like the campaign he ran, I have to say that he has tried to serve the country and his family is a proud one. While his free/screw US trade policy belief was not American first, I think that is because the bought into the Gramm and his fat cat friends/benefactors propagand.

Did anyone else notice that when FauxNews announced that Obama had won Ohio, karl rove's map of how McCain could still win included a scenario with California as a red state??! California! 61% of us voted for Obama... The phrase "out of touch" does not even BEGIN to describe the Republicans!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 06:04 PM on 11/08/2008

Rove knew. Like a lot of other propagandists, he had to pretend McCain was going to win. Acknowledging the truth of Obama's win would mean acknowledging a lot of other truths, and the Repugs can't do that (at least without sending Rove and a bunch of others to jail...).

As Conan the Barbarian said in response to the question, "what is good in life?"........

To see you enemies fleeing before you.
To smell his huts burning.
To hear the lamentations of the women.

VIctory alone is not enough.... we must see the enemy suffer as well.

it is sad, i fear they will not get over it as WE had to, I fear they will go on another smear and jear tyraid, and seek to further divvide our nation.
if we do not come together our nation will falll all great society';s have fallen under their own weight and division rather than under that from and outside enemy
if these guys do not come around, i fear, the consequences for our children in a nation divided as such

Weird how they're all white. All of 'em!

They should get some sun and a tan. They'll be a lot happier.

It's not about how they are all white. It is the fact that they were misled by McCain/Palin with sleazy attacks. Doesn't matter what color they are, the fact is they had the wrong people in mind to lead the country. Those people happen to make bad choices.

John McCain needs to do a national press conference to tell his "followers" how his campaign miss led them and how they lied about Obama's character. My family (mother, father, brother and sister) are of the "white base". They live in a town of 1,000 in Rural Ohio. They are terrified of Obama thanks to Fox News and Sarah Palin. I am pissed off at John McCain and his reckless, hate-filled capaign. I am now in the process of trying to "de-program" their brains with the facts of Obama's "radical associations", about why he hasn't released the names of the donors who have given $200 or less (even though McCain hasn't released all of the names of his donors as well). The list of their fears goes on and on. I am VERY PISSED at how the GOP thinks this type of behavior was OK for America. COUNTRY FIRST MY ASS!!!

I thought Obama was supposed to bring us all together...this does not sound like unity.

thank you so much for saying that. all they try to do is cause a stir, even when one is unnecessary. they never look for common ground, and have grown worse over the years.
it is like the RNC wants to argue to keep things from being done.

Funny, how you can ring the bell of unity now, when you were perhaps following down red brick road supporting McCain/Palin with all the sleaze they were putting out misleading the public. Secondly, you have listened to Pres. Obama's speech when he said that he is president to all Americans.

Your thought is right and Obama did unite. You and the rest of the disbelievers choose a different path. Your group does not unify they divide they love to hate. Please please take a tour on your computer and see all the people he touch. You mean to tell me no one in your group heard what the rest of America heard and the rest of the world. Your world is the 1700's thru 1960's.Sorry you miss the boat! Please take a tour and step into the FUTURE.

The one consistent I've noticed about all the people saying what you are saying, is:

:...this does not sound like unity."
Until you choose to neglect post like this, from people like, electionisover, that post things like this,
"...Ten reasons Obama could make a great presient!" LINK/Top_Ten_Reasons_Obama_Could_Make_A_Great_President

Funny you people never complain when the Tr00l$ are trying to divide America.
