Oprah Unleashed! Shouts Of Joy During Post-Election Show (VIDEO)

Oprah Winfrey had a special live post-election special on Wednesday, and screamed with joy over the victory of Obama. Winfrey publicly endorsed Obama and campaigned for him, but hadn't really talked about him on her show since her endorsement last winter.

But as she put it on Wednesday, she is "UNLEASHED!" Wearing a "Hope Won" shirt and waving an American flag, she celebrated with unbridled joy for the first several minutes before settling down to talk to a panel including Peggy Noonan and John Lewis. She also joked that if Obama hadn't won she would probably be in the hospital today "on a drip."

Look...I am not one to give her Oprah-ness credit. Most of the time, I feel her show is more of a cult meeting than entertainment (How about putting the President-elect on the cover of your magazine instead of you for the BILLIONTH time, for example???)

But, her decision not to interject her personal politics into her behemoth of a show has broken this cynic down.

Kudos to her.

..yopu innate cynicism prevent the inking that some DO have personal integrity and do abide by their word..She made her FIRST public endorsement, but did so after giving due consderation and determied that to avaid ramifications of using her show to influence or promote, she would abstain . Give the woman credit where due here for the mattering. Too many filled too many on air chatterings that were filled with them advocating THEIR particular choices and NO, Mac did NOT suffer from lack of such advocates who took every opportunity to promote him and his team mate Palin. Lots chatted up negatively to and about Obama , and Obama had outright supporters as well . Can nit pick forever..but Oprah hadnled herself quite well and with integrity intact.

Thanks Oprah, for introducing this man to America. You deserve to celebrate wildly and rejoice in this victory! I have been looking forward to two things now: Inauguration Day. In regards to prop 8 and the definition of marriage bruha..How about mandating ALL need first a CIVIL UNION and let churches, religous organzation perfomr the religious marriage cermony according to their religious rules. Seems would simply the nonsense and clear up some of the reasonings demanded to have MARRIAGE include all. Marriage ceremony's are church things...THe Civil Union thing is basic governing law basis...CHANGE THE CIVIL UNION DEFINITION TO MAKE IT THE MADATORY FOR ALL and hav it DEFINE THE RIGHTS that govern over what IS or IS NOT allowed in such a UNION. THAT WOULD BE THE SIMPLER APPROACH FOLKS, stop the other nonsense for there are churches that WILL marry "gays" and there are those that will continue to refuse...Let the religions have THEIR choice in the matter, is NOT a goverment responsibility to dictate to them but govt. can dictate CIVIL UNIONS AS THE ONLY LEGAL MEANS TO JOIN ANY COUPLE LEGALLY and for the LEGAL BENEFITS OF SUCH UNIONS.

Oh enough of the Oprah Hillary thing.I was a rabid Hillary supporter and rspected Oprahs choice,and can I say voted for Obama iwth overwhelming pride and excitment,as I bet Hillary did,No other runner up in rpimary history(especially as close as that one was)has ever done more for the nominee and fromer rival she did over 80 rallies and fundraisers for him,The issues mattered more just like they matter more to Obama...He will be a amazing President I cries when they showed the reaction around the world I was nice to see people in foriegn lands waving our flag with hope and excitment ,the last eight years people usually burn them when Bush arrived on their soil..AMERICA WE ARE BACK AND WE DID IT OMG WE DID IT..May god bless our new beautiful first family and this great land of ours!!!!!!!
