Cinema has produced some of the most astounding interpretations of the mullet and most of them seem to be on the head of Jean Claude Van Damme or Patrick Swayze. It's easy to look back at the ridiculous gravity defying hairdos and laugh but they seemed pretty darn cool at the time.

People are still condition against those long haired hippie types.

The J Edgar Hoover and Nixon drug war was a war on liberals and hippies in particular.

Why would any male want to go to all that work, just for a hair style?

No one asked, but I have always liked Kiefer's dad's acting much better than his.

Donald can make you squirm just with a look, but Kiefer acts like he wants us to admire him.
