President-elect Barack Obama has launched the website change.gov, where one can find news about the transition and inauguration and information about his agenda. The site also has a place for people to share their ideas for government and their stories about the campaign.

I cannot wait to see the kind of service opportunities we will have!!! I'm hoping that just like the campaign site, they will have regional outreach.
Wow! I am blown away by the Obama/Biden organization. I was trying to figure out how they were going to do it (involve the people), and there it was! I am impressed. I have worked in both the private and public sectors and have seen the good, bad and ugly. I have always appreciated organizations that started with a clear "big picture" that was dynamic, changing and powerful. It is so refreshing to aim for the best, and the only way you can do that is to gather ideas without prejudice and then pull them together to form an action plan that has clear objectives, deadline dates, and ongoing accountability/factual reporting. It should always be a work in progress, subject to improvments on a continual basis. But, I digress now. Thank you, President-elect Obama and Vice-President-elect Biden, for renewing my faith in our government and making me see that, "Yes, we do have intelligent leaders with great ideas."

I have been saying for weeks that I hoped the Obama administration would employ the same tech savvy they employed during the election campaign because it was so effective.
It hasn't even been 2 days since he was elected, and my wish has come true.
I am so thrilled...
They're going to maintain and expand upon the interactive nature of their campaign website. I love this!
Is it just me? Or am I the only one totally excited about this new American Experience? Am I dreaming? Is this really government of, for and by the people?

I've been waiting for this! The rumor mill has been churning for two days about change.gov. The grassroots effort to take back the US has just begun.
