Palin: Africa Charge Comes From 'Small, Bitter Person' (VIDEO)

Last night, Fox News' Carl Cameron reported some astounding news -- according to top John McCain aides, Sarah Palin did not know Africa was a continent. Today, via Think Progress, Palin dismissed the story, saying a "small, evidently bitter type of person" made "foolish ... false allegations." However, she did not specifically refute the Africa claim or any of the other charges related by Cameron. Watch:

Tonight, I had saw/heard two MSNBC anchors (Keith O., and the guy from Hardball) say that "North America consists of Canada, Mexico, and the United States". Now I don't know for sure (I'm just Joel-Six-Pack), but what about Cuba, Greenland, etc.? If North America consists of more than the three countries mentioned, the two anchors really must be stupid. If North America consists of only the three countries, then I must really be stupid.

The biggest thing people are missing here is that her ignorance is reflective of a Euro-centric education system that teaches students everything about Europe, a little about Asia and S. America and NOTHING about Africa. ZERO. Sarah Palin didn't get stupid on here own.

The other irony in this is that while everyone acknowledges the different kinds of whites (Germans, Russians, French etc) and Asians (Koreans, Japanese, Chinese etc) no one realizes there's different kinds of "blacks" in Africa.

The other irony is that the Dutch can takeover S. Africa and call themselves "Afrikans" with a ring of authenticity (notice how that was the only African country Palin could name). But blacks were brought to America and until this election weren't really seen as "real Americans" or actual citizens. Amazing. . . .
