Palin Returns To Alaska To Chants Of '2012' (VIDEO)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has returned to her home state of Alaska, where she was greeted by dozens of supporters encouraging her to run for president in four years.

The crowd chanted "2012! 2012!" as Palin disembarked her airplane at the Anchorage airport. Asked by reporters if she might run for president, Palin said, "We'll see what happens then."

The Alaska governor said she hoped to work with president-elect Barack Obama on energy policy. She was returning to the state after spending Tuesday night in Phoenix, where she watched election returns with her Republican running mate, Arizona Sen. John McCain.

I don't know what to think. I KNOW there are intelligent Alaskans out there. I just know it. Despite the re-election of Ted Stevens and the support of this woman. I'm sorry but I expect my politicians to KNOW things. She just seems to want to govern on charisma and she's short on that in my book. Being a Christian I was appauled to see the ways Sarah Palin used to stir up hate in her rallys. I was ashamed to be a Christian IF she is one. It seemed she was trying to start riots within her rallys. Surely she must be smart enough to see what her words of hate and lies did to help John McCain get defeated. We are very glad McCain chose her so he lost the election and we have a new president who has good judgment and leadership. He stood up against many including McCain to vote against the Iraq war. She sure didn't help the women's movement whatever.

The next time we hear John McCain talking about how much he "loves this country" let's be sure to remember how he was willing to entrust this nation in Sarah Palin's hands without a second thought given to her qualifications for office.
Her hubris is a whole other topic for discussion. The greater concern is McCain's reckless disregard for for the United States in his craven attempt to win the White House at any and all cost. He should strike the word "honor" from his vocabulary. As for Sarah who has delusions of competence....she'll be back.
