Palin Returns To Alaska To Chants Of '2012' (VIDEO)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has returned to her home state of Alaska, where she was greeted by dozens of supporters encouraging her to run for president in four years.

The crowd chanted "2012! 2012!" as Palin disembarked her airplane at the Anchorage airport. Asked by reporters if she might run for president, Palin said, "We'll see what happens then."

The Alaska governor said she hoped to work with president-elect Barack Obama on energy policy. She was returning to the state after spending Tuesday night in Phoenix, where she watched election returns with her Republican running mate, Arizona Sen. John McCain.

Was just reading at the AIP site. Interesting in general and I found this about the Palin's involvement:

What was correct was that Todd Palin was a member, that Sarah as a candidate for Governor appeared at the AIP Convention in 2006, and sent a welcoming DVD to the membership at the 2008 AIP statewide convention. Those truths do not take away my fault in mis-speaking regarding her membership. For that I do take full responsibility. I hold Governor Palin in high regard, I believe she is far and away the best individual Alaska could have as Governor, and as a woman, mother and wife is one of the best examples walking!”

Aside from the kudos given to Mrs. Palin, the governor and wife of member Todd Palin, remember that Mrs. has stated repeatedly that Mr. is her "biggest and closest advisor".

For those who don't know, the AIP is the Alaskan Independence Party. They want to secede from the "Lower 48" and become a separate country.

Frankly, she dimmed any desire we ever had to go to Alaska. I just hope she doesn't ever venture politically too far from its borders again. It's bad enough that the wolves have no escape from her . . . .

All I need to know is:

1. They sit on vast natural resources and they keep that wealth for their own state.
2. They take in $1.81 in federal bennies for every $1.00 they pay in federal taxes.
3. They are the #1 recipient of pork among the 50 states.
4. Their state government is corrupt.

If the Republican party continues to align itself with those who are seeking to turn the US of A into a theocracy, they will become smaller and smaller until it loses it's status as a national party.

Palin's return was kept under rap so the many non-supporters didn't show up to give her a far less favorable reception. She is in for a rude awakening about her negatives here in Alaska and the disgust many Alaskans feel about her disgraceful performance at the national level. We sure didn't realize she had been hit in the head too many times with a hockey puk (those black circles they throw around an ice skating rink) and the only thing she does somewhat well is being a snippy dishonest politician.

Mark my words, in 4 years the Republican nominee will be Bobby Jindal. Jindal is the current governor of LA and of Eastern Indian ancestry. He is a GOP whiz kid. They love him. Jindal's name came up Tuesday night as one of the "new faces in the Republican Party to watch". The r e p u g s will have him run against Obama because, just like the GOP was s t u p i d enough to believe that a woman, ANY woman, would do when they chose Palin, they will believe a brown man, ANY brown man, will do against Obama.

Then they will lose again. If Obama is able to do anything for those red states like WVa or KY or TN, then those people will either sit it out or vote for the brown man that has done something for them, not the one they do not know at all.

The fact that she is no longer in the lower 48 spreading her attack on Obama's character is such a great relief. I feel elated. The outcome of this election is pure jubilation. I just can't muster any sympathy for how this woman acts and thinks (or doesn't think for that matter).
