White House Dog Barney Bites Reuters Reporter

The Washington Post's Al Kamen reports:

Reuters television White House correspondent Jon Decker reports that President Bush's dog Barney, going on a walk this morning on the North Lawn, let his reaction to the news show.

He "bit my right index finger this morning -- as I reached down to pet him," Decker said. The bite broke skin and the wound was bleeding enough to prompt White House physician Dr. Richard Tubb to treat Decker with antibiotics. He will also be getting a tetanus shot.

Why did Barney bite the reporter?
a) Bush needs a new job so he had Barney retrained to be in West Texas dog fighting rings.
b) Barney's behavior gives us insight into the atmosphere inside the White House for the last 8yrs.
c) Barney's is just doing something Bush would have loved to do but didn't.

those reporters don't seem to understand why a dog being surrounded by a bunch of people with 'devices' in front of their faces, bites the hand of one of them when someone tries to touch him without letting the dog smell first the hand of that person.... wow! I'm a cat person but at least I know that.
