White House Dog Bites Reporter

Apparently, earlier today, the White House dog, Barney, WENT ROGUE and attacked Big Media, biting John Decker from Reuters. This created the ultimate cross-platform "Woman Reports On Dog Biting Man Reporter This Is MSNBC, The Place For Dog Bites" story. We are promised that we will be "kept up to date!" Yes, it's all fun and games until Barney, who now has the thirst for journalist blood, strikes again, which will be hopefully soon.

Funny story. Barney is a cute dog, obviously he wasn't in the mood. The reporter just didn't know about dogs and their body language, all dogs are not friendly towards strangers. I have a Boxer/Black Lab mix that is like that too, if he doesn't know you,watch it ! Dog bites hurt like sin ! I know from experience,breaking up a fight between one of my boxers and a stray that got in the yard. In retrospect I should have let my dog kill it or shot it myself. I love dogs though and just wanted to help the thing.That big ol' stray dog almost broke my arm,left some huge holes in it too. Not fun.

That's pretty funny. Jerk should know better than to mess with other people's dogs. Barney clearly was in no mood. His head was down, tail not wagging, ears back ... when the reporter reached, the dog recoiled and the reporter continued reaching. His fault.

Thank you! Barney looked unhappy, and you leave any pet alone who looks unhappy. If the reporter showed some palm to Barney & let him decide if he wanted pets, then it would have been much better, but condescending calling to Barney and putting a hand on him was a dumb idea.

Well, what did they expect? You let a bunch of strange people crowd around a small dog with cameras. Then one of them moves in with his hand overhead and tries to pat the dog, who reacts to this unexpected and threatening gesture by snapping. it's not like Barney went for anyone's throat. Go Barney!
