Sarah Palin Spent $40,000 On Luxury Goods For Todd

Washington Post's Reliable Sources column reports on more Palin clothing expenditures, this time for Todd:

On top of the $150,000 first outlined in Federal Election Commission filings, Palin spent "tens of thousands of dollars" on additional clothing, makeup and jewelry for herself and her family, including $40,000 in luxury goods for her husband, Todd, our colleague Michael Shear reports. The campaign was charged for silk boxer shorts, spray tanners and 13 suitcases to carry all the designer clothes, according to two GOP insiders.

She knows full well who they are. Her team of handlers was not an army. I don't care who they are specifically -- they are low level nothings that will not be on the national stage like she is. I just want everything out in the open so that the more info out there, the more she steps in it and the trail is left behind to find. Therefore in 4 years -- it's not going to be hard to stomp her down again.

My guess is that Palin didn't realize that her purchases would be tracked. That says something about her intelligence. That she went hog-wild even though she was told to buy six outfits says a lot about her character. And she appears to be something of a compulsive liar.

I don't care if she's being undercut by Romney supporters. If she didn't want people to dish, she shouldn't have provided the plates.

Trashy is as trashy does. Just when I thought nothing could top the unraveling of the Clinton campaign during the primary. I am not slamming Hillary, but it just kind of got to be funny toward the end when they started turning on each other and not paying bills, Wolfson shopping a book deal etc. The McCain/Palin campaign is even more outrageous in their ridiculous behavior... Todd's silk boxers, I know there are some red blooded God fearing Republican women that would love to bid on those used undies. Sarah is a 3-D comic strip.

Electronic voting machines that a Michigan election official said last week incorrectly tabulated vote counts during pre-election tests in the state were used in Minnesota where the senate race between Republican incumbent Norm Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken is in dispute.

According to an Oct. 24 letter sent to the federal Election Assistance Commission (EAC), Ruth Johnson, the Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds, warned that tabulating software in Election Systems & Software M-100 optical scan voting machines recorded “conflicting” vote counts during testing in her state.
