Oprah To Palin: You're Now Welcome Any Time

A couple of months ago, there was a media kerfuffle when Oprah Winfrey said she would not have Gov. Sarah Palin on the show during the election.

Now that the election is over, the door is open to the former vice presidential candidate. A representative for Oprah's talk show said that "we have extended an invitation" to the Alaska governor.

All these comments are full of hatred. My goodness, how much crap is everyone going to fling? Get over Sarah. Leave her alone. If she does come back in 2012, I'm sure all of you will have another huge round of hatred to spew. If anyone spouted hatred for Obama like you guys have for Palin, they would be called racists. If Oprah couldn't handle Sarah being on her show during the election process, why would Sarah even lower herself to go on Ms. O's show now? I sure wouldn't. Why? So Ms. O can put you down, jam the election results down your throat? If I was Sarah, I'd say "shove it Big O. I wasn't good enough for you the last 2 yrs, I'm not good enough for you now." I tape Oprah's show every day so don't claim me to dislike/hate Oprah cuz I don't. I tend to be different & remain objective & not be totally one-sided. One question: Who paid for Obama's and Biden's wives and children to travel with them during the election? Nobody ranted over that. Did anyone notice that Michelle has a clothes designer in IL? The media didn't repeat on every newscast about Biden stating JOBS is a THREE letter word. The media was resentless when Quayle spelled potato incorrectly. Let's be fair people!!!

Good post. If you are a Hillary supporter you might remember the media constantly reporting about her "Ducking Sniper Fire" in Bosina yet Biden got a pass for claiming to have been shot at in Iraq and having had his chopper "Forced Down" in Afghanistan. The media elected the President they wanted.

The media spent far more time showing clips of Rev Wright than they did showing clips of Hillary's Bosnia claims. You would think something a candidate said would be more news worthy than something said at a candidate's church. And the media spent no time talking about Palin's witch doctor.

No candidates were on the show during the election season. What was so special about Palin that she should have been allowed to do what Obama and McCain weren't?

If Sarah couldn't handle Katie, she won't be able to handle Oprah. And guess what... Palin was only a part of the McCain campaign for 9 weeks, far less than two years. Given how stupid Palin is, she should be grateful she has been invited on Oprah rather than Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.

Michelle, the Obamas and the Bidens pay for their own clothing. Her "clothes designer" in IL owns a shop that Michelle buys her own clothes from with her own money. She has been since before the primaries even. Don't get mad because the paper trail leaked by McCain staffers indicated that the RNC paid, and paid, and paid for her clothes and her family's clothing. In spite of what small minds think, everything in the world is not Obama's fault.

JOB is a 3 letter word. I doubt Palin could tell me how many words, or countries are in Africa.

It is alll about keeping her word. Oprah said she had not been approached by anyone to have Sarah Palin on her show; therefore, she did not refuse to have her on her show on that count. She did state that she would not have any of the politicians on her show until after the election. The election is over, so it is gracious of Oprah to keep her word.

Seems some of Sarah's supporters don't want her to go on Oprah's show now after threatening a boycott previously if she wasn't offered an interview. Obviously, they aren't fans anyway, so who cares.

I bet Palin would never do this, since she was very reluctant to even stand on stage with a pro-choice (gasp!) lawmaker in Pennsylania. When she was ordered to she stood out there but said nothing.
