Mariah Carey: Nick And I Waited For Marriage For Sex

It was Mariah Carey's second marriage, but she waited till her wedding night anyway when she got married earlier this year she told the Mirror:

"It's not that we had NO intimacy, we just didn't have complete intimacy. It's just me, and my feelings.

"I definitely don't want to push it on anybody else. But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is."

Mariah, 38, married Nick Cannon, 28, in April after a whirlwind 2-month courtship. She was previously married to Tommy Mottola.

Oh c'mon harriettubman. In many societies waiting to have sex is considered a virtue, a sign of chastity, a symbolism of purity. It is also a sign of discipline, of the mind's ability to not let the desires, lust, hate, and other carnate wants control the body. With her reputation as a party girl can you seriously believe she has somehow matured in a few months into what normally takes others years if they can ever change at all? Don't get this wrong. We all wish her well if simply for the great songs she's brought us, but we don't appreciate being played for fools either.
