Palin

Via The New Republic, another anecdote from Newsweek on Sarah Palin:

The day of the third debate, Palin refused to go onstage with New Hampshire GOP Sen. John Sununu and Jeb Bradley, a New Hampshire congressman running for the Senate, because they were pro-choice and because Bradley opposed drilling in Alaska. The McCain campaign ordered her onstage at the next campaign stop, but she refused to acknowledge the two Republican candidates standing behind her.

While Bradley is reported to be pro-choice, Sununu is not, at least publicly. It's not clear from the Newsweek article whether the misconception was Palin's or that of her aides.

If everyone who is pro-life "walked the walk" our population would be double.

Palin is just following her religious beliefs.....Theocracy.....like many of those who supported prop 8 in California.

I think these facts are good to know.....should she be running for any other office in the future.
It just proves she is a mini-me of Bush/Cheney (with us or against us)
Judging the beliefs and behaviors of others, or forcing your beliefs is insane. When YOU people realize that there are all different faiths, and beliefs in this Pro-America...then maybe you will get the votes needed to govern America....Not RULE over the masses. You have an awful lot of hate for a Christian Sarah

It's really OK... On November 4th, the intelligent people of America refused to acknowledge Palin, too!

What a nasty piece of work, Palin is.

why even report this? cannot we not focus on what is needed now? fine report missteps in the future, but lets leave the campaign behind.
media ( mainstream; blogshere; wherever) needs to support the ability of people to find the positive, not the divisive.
Until she does or says something new, why bother? ( I am not a fan of SP by any means, I just don't see how this article or the posted comments serve any purpose)

Personally, I don't mind seeing Sarah Palin irreparably damaged to the point where her future in both Alaskan and national politics is terminated.

It's great to see it being done not by the "angry Left" but by factions of the Republican party.

If you're looking for something positive ... Mrs. Palin will have more time to care for Trig and Bristol.

The country cannot withstand another lambr@in at the top. Any Party who attempts to put the country in that position needs to pay until it understands that mental competence is a non-negotiable qualification for the office of President and VP. I don't think the GOP has learned its lesson yet and I think we need to continue to talk about Governor Palin.

Show me where in the constitution it states that personal medical choices shall be up to the present elected politicians to decide right and wrong.

And they say she has a bright future in the Republican party? I'm guessing she may not with this attitude. Even if you disagree with people on some issues you would still have to work with them.

She has a VERY bright future in the Republican party. They are going to pay her to go on a speaking tour , telling all GOP candidates how NOT to run a campaign!

I hope someone is archiving all of this sh*t for 2012!

She is such a narcissist I'm sure she thinks she can waltz right back onto the political stage and the "world" will embrace her--since that's what she's hearing from her friends @ Faux Noise.

Excellent point. When Obama runs in 2012, it'll be nice to know that she'll implode with the weight of her archival sociopathy.

There is reason to believe this isn't true. For instance, she was palling around with that wretched woman "lady" de Rothschild, who I believe is pro-choice.

Whatever happened to the good "lady" anyway? We haven't heard a peep out of her since the election.

Explains her high school mean girl affect...you know, the cheerleader types who wouldn't let anyone not in the clique sit at their lunch table. Not much has changed since, attitude-wise or intellectually. She's prejudiced to the bone.

Weatherwaxx--

I'm pro-life, I voted for Obama, and I have no idea what the heck you're talking about.

What do you mean "It's truly astonishing how many "pro-life" women suddenly find ways to rationalize an abortion if it is THEIR unwanted pregnancy or THEIR daughter who's in an embarrassing state. They can justify it for themselves.....

I'm not making this up." ?

You're saying that pro-life women are out there getting abortions? At the very least, I can say that pro-life women are not getting abortions, like you say they are, or they wouldn't be pro-life. Sarah Palin did not get an abortion. She did not force her child to get an abortion.

Also, this story above makes no sense. Both of those Republicans that Sarah did not want to stand with are actually pro-life. Check out their voting records on "On the Issues."
Is it really true that Sarah did not want to stand with them? Jeb Bradley has a 0% rating from Planned Parenthood and John Sununu has a 30% rating from PPL. I don't believe this story--it must be a mistake.

There are plenty "public pro lifers" getting abortions. How naive are you? It's called hypocrisy.

"Sarah Palin did not get an abortion."

Sarah Palin did not have a baby - her daughter did.

Pro life women are certainly getting abortions.

As a phone volunteer for the Obama campaign I can tell you that I have spoken with dozens of women who HAD abortions and who are pro-life.

One woman told me that she was leaning McCain because having her abortion was ... TOO EASY. That's right. After reflecting on her abortion (which she doesn't regret, by the way), she said "they should have shown me a movie or something".

She also passed judgement on the OTHER women who were waiting at the hospital, saying they didn't look upset enough. So now she's pro-life. Nice.

Well, we certainly know what her priorities are.

Poor people? - Let them eat cake!!!
Babies of rapists - Godspeed!

I am not surprised. In her hacked e-mails she trashed the opponent for being pro-choice and praised the republican candidate she supported because we was right on the right issues (life).

She is a nutjob!

....this is one of my very favorite reasons why people that still believe in this....person....shouldn't....

Palin told him that "dinosaurs and humans walked the Earth at the same time," Munger said. When he asked her about prehistoric fossils and tracks dating back millions of years, Palin said "she had seen pictures of human footprints inside the tracks."

And for even more.....
