I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Rush Limbaugh

An article in Sunday's Los Angeles Times takes a look at how the right-wing media is responding to Obama's victory last week. Already, it seems, the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have started to rile up their listeners/viewers by going after Obama. The relationship of Fox News and the Obama administration will be particularly interesting to watch, given that Fox News was cut out of the questioning at the first Obama press conference. As for Obama's harshest critics among fellow politicians, the New York TImes reported yesterday on how many of them have, for various reasons, rushed to praise him.

From the LA Times:

Opening his first post-election rant against the president-elect, Limbaugh launched in with a certain relish. "The game," he told his radio listeners, "has begun."

Sean Hannity, on the other hand, insisted on feigning a post-election detente, telling his Fox News television audience last week, "I want Barack Obama to succeed."

Didn't he think anyone would notice that, just a moment later, he was back parroting the failed campaign argument that Obama is a "mystery"?

"I fear [this] is the guy that has these radical associations 20 years ago," Hannity added, an odd way of demonstrating support for the new commander in chief.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham, Coulter, Boortz, and that crowd are leading the complete marginalization of the Republican Party. Right wing cable and radio, along with the right wing think tanks dominate what is left of the GOP. They are now recycling their mantra (er, dogma) at meetings throughout the country and are reaching the conclusion that the American voter just doesn't understand the Republican message. What a bunch of fools---- Americans are understanding that the majority of their thinking is not good for most Americans. Let them follow this same brain-dead path in 2010 and see what happens. They will deserve it.

I suggest that people just call in and see if we can coax the right-wing windbags closer to a heart attack.

;-)

La migliore vendetta è di vivere bene.

The best revenge is to live well. I'm still basking in Obama's (and our) success. There is no room for hatred, only pity that there is still such ignorance in the world that clowns like Limbaugh, Hannity, et al,
actually make a living by stoking such negativity in others.

That's not to say I won't be interested in hearing reasoned discussion about any future policies of our new president after he takes office, but give me George Will any day for the loyal opposition. Is he still with the remains of the Republican Party? Or has he been booted for the sin of reason.

I occasionally (well actually quite often LOL) check out Sean Hannity's website Forums, "Washington Politics" mainly which he regularly encourages his radio listeners to visit.

Today I questioned a poster as to why he would use a elementary school aged photo of Michelle Obama, with the words "1rst Hag" printed on it as his User ID photo, pointing out that I felt that was pretty low, to be using a childhood photo as an object or ridicule.

It's obvious that his probable real intent... if he could have gotten away with it would have "Buckwheat" printed on the photo!

Of course I got "massacred" as being a "Sissy LIB, who needed to take my meds" LOL.

I looked to the Moderators Forum there to see if it might be worth complaining about the use of Michelle Obama's photo. What I found in the Moderator's Forum was that there seems to be only 2 moderators, one of which had as his User ID photo (short video) a man cocking a pistol and shooting it up into the air, only to have a cartoon black man fall out of the sky, past the shooter!

Complaint... NEVER MIND! LOL

He's going to blow a gasket, and hopefully sooner rather than later. What a pompous fool.

What else have these folks got to offer....................Absolutely nothing of consequence!
Can you imagine living in these guys heads? All that pent up energy every day on hatred and hostility.
What a sadistic life to lead! Thank God, I can screen them out and refuse to let them affect, effect or infect my aura!

The republican party is officially dead, i just want to know where to send flowers, this victory is not just a regular election, this is a generational shift, this means that the republican party, has proven to be its own worst enemy, and the american people, in their wisdom, were smart enough to see that this party, is over!! the GOP is "DEAD" and the democrats will make damm sure that you dont come back from the dead!!! we voted in massive numbers, and the next election we will vote in even more massive numbers!!!!

Fathead Limbaugh spent all that time railing against McCain in the GOP primary season, now he is freaking out his party lost the White House. Be careful what you wish for.

Ditto Sean Hannity! I force myself to listen to him occasionally just to hear what kind of drivel is coming from that "side". Back in the winter I distinctly remember him going on-and-on about how McCain was so horrible, how he wasn't a war hero - just a poor pilot for crashing his plane. That was around the same time that the most-evil and vile Ann Coulter was saying that she'd vote for Hillary b/f she'd vote for McCain, and she was on Hannity's show with him. Notice how quiet she's been the past 6 months - those were some sound bites waiting to bite her in the a**! I wish someone had rerun Hannity's clips recently to show what a disgusting hypocrite he really is.

I was thinking of calling Rush Limbaugh, Mr. Limburger, for his stench, but that would be an insult to a really wonderful cheese.

How quickly they forget their own angles of attack. Remember those two questionable squeakers Bush "won" and the never-ending screeching of "SORE LOSERS" from the Right. Now our guy wins hands-down as we watch the right wing loudmouths come unraveled. Ah Karma!

Rush is pushing buttons of the ignorant right to get them all fired up over Obama and Rush will say outrageous things to get them going. Just go to Rush's web and see the lies and silly things he has on there, the problem is that their are a whole bunch of people who believe that stuff. Obama the socialist, Obama the Chicago thug, what crap.... I think that the GOP is in denial as they will be for a while till they review what they had done and where things went under Bush. What a mess they have on their hands, most of this mess happened on their watch and look what happened. The American people are smarter than the GOP figured. Thank God we have a new president who is not one of the inside good old boys. The only thing I am worried about now is that Obama may begin to be corrupted by the old Democrats who have their own network of corruption set up.
