I Like ItI Don’t Like It

President-Elect Obama's meeting with President Bush, a meeting of two men with very different ideologies, recalls a time almost eight years ago when then-President-Elect Bush first visited the Clinton White House. The pictures below are from that meeting, which occurred later in the year (Dec. 19 2000) because of the disputed election. There's also an encounter with then-Vice President Al Gore, Bush's former opponent.

.I clearly remember the Bush family saying that now the Clintons were leaving, they would bring back some "class" to the White House.

At the time I thought it arrogant at best; and I thought Bush witless. Now, of course, we know that they did bring "class" with them: they and their horde of low-class felons virtually trashed the place. They have behaved worse than any uncivilized (filthy, really), crude, inelegant, vulgar and disrespectful boors I've ever heard about.

I should think the Bushes would feel inferior to the radiant grace and elegance of the Obamas. But, I am sure they do not, for the discerning eye has to be open in order to see anything.

Bush is an old version of Spencer from The Hills

In the photo Bush looked so inferior to both Clinton and Gore. There was absolutely no sign of intelligence on his face.

I said a little while ago that the pictures of Obama and Bush in the White House today made me cry.

These make me cry bitter and sad tears. I was filled with such a sense of dread from the very beginning and wanted so badly to have those fears allayed. Sadly, reality turned out far worse that what I had feared. These pictures just are painful to look at.

Thank God the nightmare is over. The next slideshow I want to see is Federal agents placing Bush under arrest in Crawford for trial along with all of his buddies.

You can see every one of those 8 years on Bush's face today.

Watch it now, 40% of Texas (and nearly all of Austin) voted Obama.

Is it true that in order to live in Denver nowadays you have to either be Mexican or homosexual?

This breaks my heart - it was supposed to be Al Gore up there.

What a sad walk down memory lane. The look on his face suggested that he really did not want to be there. Heck, I didn't want him to be there either.

Bush had such a smug look on his face. Thank God, his occupation of the White House is almost over. It's hard to feel sorry for Gore now though. Traitor Lieberman would be president-elect now after eights years as Gore's VP.

An Obama presidency isn't worth the eight years of misleadership from Bush, but at least I feel like America has the chance leap frog ahead from eight years of disaster under the worst president in our history.

This is too terrifying. Watching him with Gore stirs those same old feelings of, What if? This one man, George W. Bush, has wrought more damage than I ever thought one man could. By comparison, Osama Bin Laden is a boy scout.

Urgh. We love you, President Elect Obama. Please help us all heal.

Geez. . . even then there was something sinister in Bush's eyes. We should have seen it coming.

PUT THIS CRIMINAL IN PRISON! WTF ARE WE DOING, PEOPLE? BUSH DESERVES TO BE TRIED FOR WAR CRIMES, CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY, AND PAY THE PRICE

Bush has aged the least of all the presidents. Probably because he didn't work very hard and took a lot of vacation time.
