Joe Scarborough's "F*ck" Up: Swears On Air (VIDEO)

"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough let the f-word slip at 8:13 EST Monday morning, talking about Rahm Emanuel's rumored-dirty mouth. Unaware at first he had said "fuck" instead of "f-word," Scarborough was soon set straight and spent much longer apologizing for the swear word.

Watch as he comes to realize he slipped up, begins to fear his wife's reaction, and starts apologizing. "Did I say the word?... My wife is going to kill me when I get home... I'm going to go get some soap."

Also enjoy the look on Mike Barnicle's face when he realizes what Joe said.

Okay, for the umpteenth time Joe Scarborough appears to be an angry, fly by-the-seat kind of guy. In my opinion, I see a lot of the f same spewing from Bill O'Reilly, whom Mr. Scarborough greatly resembles, as far as rhetoric. For someone to rant so fiercely and not even be aware of the faux pas he made tells me that Mr. Scarborough should perhaps find a spot on Fox News instead of MSNBC. He makes the network look really bad.

Am I missing something? Do you get MSNBC broadcast over the air? I thought it was only available by subscribing to cable or satellite programming. Unless I am wrong the FCC has no jurisdiction to say anything about it.

Actually, Director is right. FCC has no jurisdiction. However the network's own standards (to say nothing of Joe's) prohibit it.

Joe said what he said, but the bigger problem was the juveniles around him that wouldn't let it go.

I seriously doubt that children were watching Joe anyway, and everyone that was watching has, I'm guessing, probably heard this word before, and most use it regularly.

Joe didn't do this intentionally, and I would suggest that collectively we have far more pressing problems than a middle aged man having a senior moment.

What about the children?! Where is the week-long barrage of 24/7 coverage featuring endless replays of the unspeakably immoral event? Where are the Congressional hearings, complete with political opportunists who are as overly dramatic as they are overweight, masquerading as soccer moms, sobbing as they testify about their emotionally scarred offspring? Surely this moment, in which Joe Scarborough's "tongue malfunction" revealed his own hypocrisy, as he argued Mr. Emanuel is unfit for the position of Chief of Staff to President-Elect Obama because he once uttered the same words off camera, even as the obscenity flowed so effortlessly from his own lips that Joe didn't even notice it, rates at least as high as the 1/15 of a second flash of Janet Jackson's bejeweled nipple.
