Joe

Whoops!

"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough let the f-word slip at 8:13 EST Monday morning, talking about Rahm Emanuel's rumored-dirty mouth. Unaware at first he had said "fuck" instead of "f-word," Scarborough was soon set straight and spent much longer apologizing for the swear word.

Watch as he comes to realize he slipped up, begins to fear his wife's reaction, and starts apologizing. "Did I say the word?... My wife is going to kill me when I get home... I'm going to go get some soap."

Also enjoy the look on Mike Barnicle's face when he realizes what Joe said.

I honestly wouldn't have noticed if not for the reaction of the other anchors. Lol.

Where is the outrage when our own government fleeces the wealth of a nation or allows
our soldiers to be used as pawns in a war for profit?

The American people have been collectively Fk'ed for so long that a slip of the tongue
is completely natural.

Y'know, the real id iots are all the others who started snickering like they were back in sixth grade. Years ago in broadcasting school (for radio), we were taught that if we, well, f****ed up and there was no delay button, to apologize quickly and just let it go, and not keep reminding your audience of that "bad word" you just said (since you'll probably get a little phone call from the FCC anyway). Scarborough's dopey little pals showed no professionalism in the way they acknowledged the goof, making it a bigger deal than it needed to be.

Whoops! Sorry for the duplicate post. Didn't seem to work the first time.

Total lack of self-control, which means he shouldn't be on live TV. His show needs several seconds delay to prevent this from happening in the future.

I agree with this and that he is quite offensive. He belittles guests in an acusatory manner and his use of the f-word on daytime TV is not acceptable! He should be on late nite where he can say or do anything he pleases!

Joe Scarborough is always making stupid comment, and thinks its funny. He should be Release from MSNBC.
The guys on the show with him at the time was just as bad as Scarborough, showing no respect
for his viewers. MSNBC LET HIM GO!!!!!!!!!!!

See, like I said last week. Joe Scarborough is very offensive and does not seem cognizant of what is flying out of his mouth MOST of the time. Again, I will repeat: Joe Scarborough is MSNBC's version of Bill O'Reilly. He needs to go!

I'm surprised Mika didn't stake Joe through the heart. She is weirdly sensitive to anything she thinks is the slightest bit offensive, which is just about everything.

I'm less offended by Joe's f-slip (not at all offended) than I am of Mika's overbearing killjoyness and Palin worship.

ZOMG! They are adult humans who occasionally swear! I can't f*ing believe it!

Americans just need to grow the f&%$ up! We all swear, sometimes it slips out, and using the "protect the children excuse" is childish. My parents swore at me when they were upset, and I'm sure Joe, Chuck and Michael Powell swear as well.

In more grown up countries like the UK and Canada, such language is allowed after 9 pm, the time when all the little kiddies are in bed.

I don't want America to turn into Andrew Dice Clay country, but at the same time I don't want to live in Romper Room, either.

wow, i guess if joe escapes this without a massive fine and/or firing then that should, for sure open the door for any anchor person or dj's like myself to curse live on air at any time of the day. Way to go joe, may you be the leader for free speech rights in america. hahahahahahaha

Funny stuff from Morning Joe. NBC people are influencing elections more and more, just ask Tina Fey:

I like "Joe the Scarborough", even though he is a righty, well seems to be a moderate righty, he brings a lot of insight about "red" America thinking, I like the way he compares and contrasts with "blue" America and seems to tell it like it is and takes the high patriotism road in favor of "...The United States of America!"

His inner knowledge/experience of congress and how D.C. works, etc. add more credibility to his views. He and MIka, their tussles, their impressive guests, etc. make this a very interesting show in the AM for true political/news junkies, not an entertainment show like Today.

When I last checked, f**k is part of the ENGLISH LANGUAGE. Would have missed it if not for the rest of them dwelling on it.

Last time I checked, public broadcast airwaves of the F-word brings a fine from the FCC and repeated use brings a ban.

Too bad this country still thinks the world revolves around Mr. Rogers.

What's the big deal? The news covers murders, death, rapes, starvation, tragedies, all kinds of miseries. And we're concerned about a friggin' f-word? Perspective, perspective.
