Michelle Obama's Date Night Look (PHOTOS)

For the first time since Tuesday's historic election, Barack and Michelle Obama stepped out on Saturday for a three-hour dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant in Chicago.

Michelle looked especially elegant in a knee-length black coat, tied at the waist, and knee-high black boots. Her hair was pulled back into a low bun, and she wore large, possibly onyx, earrings. See how she looked below.

Michele looks deliciously elegant! What color are Barack's shoes? Olive (Is it the glare of the lights?) The Secret Serviceman's shoes behind him are clearly black... Slacks... what silk... Jacket.... cashmere..­.velvet... some really supple wool. Go Barack!

I think you're seeing the branch (grass stem?) and maybe reflection from the flash, not shoes. The green shade is identical

I don't care where they eat or play, I just want people to continue to praY for his safety. Limbaugh/H­annity/Fox News and other hate radio jocks have stirred up such hatred for Obama that I can't enjoy this for praying.

The media will no doubt try and convey a "new Camelot" type of image for the Obamas and that's not necessarily a bad thing. People love to idolize and adore their leaders and it can also help with the self-image of African-Americans and our image abroad. That being said, I would beware any excessive doting by the press personally, but I can already see them being media darlings for some time to come.

These photos reek of overly-intrusive, People-Mag­azine-styl­e paparazzi obsession. I understand that the Obama's are inspirational and transformative figures, but I do not think that it is healthy or appropriate to essentially stalk them like this. Let's pay attention to Mr. and Mrs. Obama in a more mature and less invasive way.

It is rather paparazzish, however I think we have been starving to see such a glamorous couple in the white house for so long it's almost a fetish.
I do hope the photogs keep their distance and not get in their faces like they do a la Britney Spears and Brangelina.
