Sarah Palin Fox News Interview: 'God Will Show The Way To The White House' (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin sat down with Fox News' Greta van Susteren to discuss the 2008 campaign and her political future. The wide-ranging interview covered such familiar topics as the $150,000 spent on Palin's wardrobe for the campaign, as well as the report that she was unable to name all the countries in North America and did not understand that Africa is a continent rather than a nation. Palin denied any knowledge of the RNC's extravagant clothing bills, going so far as to say that she's never set foot in a Neiman Marcus (one of the upscale stores where the RNC racked up a $75,000 bill). Palin also denied the report that she was unaware Africa is a continent.

The governor also lashed out at bloggers "sitting in their parents' basement, wearing their pajamas" for some of the questions that were raised about her record and credibility. She was particularly incensed at the questions that were floated about whether or not she was the mother of her youngest son, Trig.

Palin refused to say whether she was planning a run for the White House in 2012, but the devoutly faithful governor said she would wait for a sign from God, and that she is confident God would show the way to the White House.

Faith is a very big part of my life. And putting my life in my creator's hands - this is what I always do. I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door. Show me where the open door is. Even if it's cracked up a little bit, maybe I'll plow right on through that and maybe prematurely plow through it, but don't let me miss an open door. And if there is an open door in (20)12 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I'll plow through that door.

I hear you man, you can't make this stuff up. This woman is like a walking tv commercial who stepped right out of cardboard land. Image and ignorance go hand in hand. Cable news programs are under the increasingly mistaken impression that this is what we want to sit down and watch. There will be a shift change coming on this soon I believe as they have grossly underestimated the American public. The people who have income to spend on the crap they advertise dont bother with this garbage anymore, and the arrogance of assuming we need to watch programming made for an 8 year old will come back to bite them in the a ss. I believe their biggest real audience is the prison population which of course is booming in this country. Ahh, but prisoners dont by soft toilet paper, or brand new SUV's every 6 months. It is surprising that executives at the networks are so out of touch with people., but as long as advertisers are fooled into thinking that money is well spent, then the game goes on. I, for one will never buy a product thats been shoved down my face every 8 minutes in mindless repetition. One of the most useless jobs on the planet? Thats easy, advertising executives.

Does this woman seriously strike you as being genuinely interested in her kids' welfare, putting their interests, their desires, first? I have YET to see her do anything that struck me as good motherhood, solicitude for the welfare of her children, putting their welfare and psychological well being FIRST. They are props and built in babysitters, unfortunately, and its not entirely surprising that someone so ignorant as she is herself, so lacking in educational accomplishment, so intellectually incurious, would take such a cavalier attitude towards her own childrens' education.

Yes, anyone can be president in this country but do we want just anyone?
The Republicans say with a little work and education she will be ready for 2012. Sarah Palin is an opportunist, a media star, under educated, and someone who caters to a base that supports these inferior qualities, but why does that qualify her as a presidential candidate? Why are the Republicans putting the bar so low for the next Presidential election?

No, its not just you. She's more incoherent than even Bush is, which is hard to do. I did notice that in that interview with Greta from Faux News she sorta forgot and dropped a lot of the folksy gosh shucks Gomer Pyle routine she kept up for the entire campaign. Oops!
