Fox is closing the book on "Mad TV" after 14 seasons.
Net confirmed Wednesday that the Saturday night sketch series, which had barely escaped cancellation in recent years, will end its run at the end of this season.

aw thats sad. i only say that because one of my first dates with my "first love" was at a taping of this show, so it's sentimental to me in that respect. the taping was hilarious and we had a great time. oh well.
Right now I don't think anyone care. FOX is the second worst network on tv after FIXED News. I am not losing any sleep after anything related to them.
The first 2 or 3 seasons were the best. Then the original cast start bailing out (Miss Swan, Sasso, etc.) and the show whirled into mediocrity.
I agree with a post below; Bobby Lee should go to SNL and turn the page on Fox Saturday night shows.

MAD TV had a great run but it should have been canceled some time ago.
Some great comedians in the cast over the years -- Michael McDonald especially earlier on; Mo Collins, Stephanie Weir, Nicole Sullivan, Alex Bornstein, and the list goes on.
Oh yeah, and Bobby Lee is as overrated as they come. Out of shape Asian dude running around in his underwear every other show = not funny.
Thanks MAD TV for some good laughs.
Sad. Them and Feresten on Saturday nights making fun of their own network was the only thing I looked forward to at times.
I hope Bobby Lee joins Saturday Night Live.

I stopped watching Mad TV a long time ago and am don't really have an opinion as to whether or not it should have been cancelled. But I will always be grateful to it for giving us Alex Borstein, who I think is a great talent.

The guy who plays Timmy on mad TV cracks me up he is a better actor than Will Ferrell any day
MadTV was always hit or miss. But Arden Myrin, now I would hit that and that will be missed. Maybe you can get them to bring back the (also bad) gossip show with the Fox weather guy and the bimbo of the day host. You were hot and funny on that show. It was the only reason to watch. Hope you land a new gig soon, I'll miss watching you.
