Very good news and although it's understood this isn't a guaranteed breast cancer cure, it is yet another step in the right direction. Very good to see.

So, big pharma are finally admitting that until now they had no idea what this drug was doing inside the body of a woman. Basically they were selling it for a high profit just because in tests the results barely edged out those of placebo-treated patients... Then, of course, all it took was to bribe the FDA into accepting it. Hurray for jungle-law capitalism!!

Oh wow, that is a bitter reply. BC means Breast Cancer, does it? I can say that whether or not they knew/know..it is good to keep trying. My experience with tamoxifin is that one puts on about 50 pounds which is hard to take off after the 5 years. This article doesn't say what the time span was that the cancer returned. That would be a stat that I would like to know. Every piece of progress IS progress. The Phamacoutical companies are suspect all the time...but gosh. And I am truly sorry for your experience.

Nope, not my experience, I don't have breast cancer. BC is where I live.
