I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Dennis Miller appeared on The O'Reilly Factor tonight (Miller is a frequent guest on Bill O'Reilly's show) and went on a rant regarding what Barack Obama should do to the executives of AIG when he takes office, namely, that Obama "should flatten these punks" and "come down hard on them." After Miller finished his rant, O'Reilly chimed in that Obama's next move should be "to arrest Barney Frank, correct?" Miller replies, "Eh, Barney might want to be arrested."

It seems that Frank, the most prominent openly-gay member of the House of Representatives, is being slurred by Miller for his homosexuality. The reactions of O'Reilly and Miller confirm that Miller's joke was inappropriate, to say the least. Watch and judge for yourself.

Miller and O'Reilly are a great match.
Two bully's.
And as we all know bully's are just cowards at heart.
Miller proved his cowardice when he went all right wing after 9/11 because as he himself said"I'm scared shitless"
As for Bill O..how many times have we seen him shout down or cut off the mike of some one getting the best of him?

I'm just sayin'

Dennis Miller wasn't funny whne he was on SNL (unless you were really high). His "jokes" are lame. Maybe they SHOULD replace him with Sarah Palin.

It's a tired old joke from a tired old has been.

No one notices what's really hilarious in the scene. Dennis says in order to earn HIS good will, Obama will have to this and this and this, a certain way, and then something else.

Dennis Miller, you over inflated gas bag, the anal lips that have earned YOUR good will would be the war criminals in the current administration. The worst president in the history of the country earned YOUR good will. Me thinks even you're smart enough to want a president that does anything in the world but earn YOUR good will.

A word to the less than wise here, Dennis. Just because you are good with words, doesn't mean you've got good judgment. At least that's what the numbers say. What numbers? Jobs lost. Homes lost. Retirement funds lost. Soldiers lives lost.

Ahhh yes....."What numbers? Jobs lost. Homes lost. Retirement funds lost. Soldiers lives lost."

Once again, a liberal daydreams back to the Roosevelt years....or are you talking about East L.A.?

My bad, I just realized you were talking about Barney Frank's role in Freddie, Fannie and the mortgage crisis.

As far as war criminals for Presidents, you might want to look at the actions of liberal hero Roosevelt (internment camps, indiscriminate (carpet) bombing of Germany, the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima) and a guy named Lincoln who turned loose U.S. soldiers against it's citizenry in New York. And why are there no Democrat war criminals like H. Clinton and all those that authorized the use of force? Oh, that's right, the woman who would be king was once again fooled by an ignorant country bumpkin...the first time she married the guy! Every single Democrat and Republican that authorized the use of force (war) shares all blame or praise. As in all other wars, only history will tell which.
I agree that Miller isn't funny, but I wouldn't use that term to describe lips while criticizing Miller.

Ah, excuse me, most intelligent, all knowing "rockflower".

But do the names Truman, H-bomb, Nagasaki and Hiroshima ring any bells?

Time to read a book.

Make it history instead of comedy the next time.

Blaming Frank for the financial crisis is like blaming the fire department for the fire they went to put out

These 2 buffoons failed to suggest what President Bush should do. Their beloved rethug president IS in office until Jan 20Th 2009. It was Bush , who came hat in hand for the bailout , now that things are running amuck, it is Bush who must do his job.

These republicans are going the way of the dinosaur and they know it. The hood is off O' Reilly and Dennis Miller is the emperor who wore no clothes.

calling that "joke" homophobic diminishes the word homophobia. A phobia is an irrational and sometimes all consuming fear. I didn't see any fear in Miller when he told the joke. A better word would be heterosexist. Meaning that the joke was clearly anti-gay.

This is what I'd call a contextual issue. If a gay man had made this joke, it would not really be homophobic. The real obscenity here is Miller. Bill Hicks would be appalled at what has happened to his old buddy

I bet Dennis Miller won't say that to Barney Frank's face. Mr. Frank has made no secret of his
sexual orientation but Dennis Miller's so call Joke was not funny but quite tatseless so we now
know how Dennis Miller feels about Gays. So at some point when the laughs die out and
there are no more crowds for Dennis what will he do then. The joke is on Dennis and
instead of insulting a congressman he should take a look at his life and himself. Do people
who call themselves commedians ever think that some of their so call jokes hurt people.
Dennis does not. SHAME ON YOU DENNIS

"Inappropriate?!" Have you seen what protestors have been doing lately? Would you call that appropriate? Hum?

Assault of any sort is wrong, and I'm betting LeiftheLucky never loses a chance to denounce gay-bashing, right? On the other hand, it's a clear case of Meddlesome, Condescending Woman Goes Looking for Trouble and Finds It. You think that when folks were burning witches at the stake or murdering Jews, they didn't believe they were doing it in service of God's love?

Be sure to pass this information on to Pat Robertson and his TV cohorts. They love taking an isolated example or two and presenting them as representative of all others in their Hate-This-Group segments.

That was a really scary video. I feel very disturbed by it. I feel really sorry for the little kids of parents who believe in this sick stuff.

I'm gay. Keep up the homophobic humor, it's all good. When your kids ask you what's so funny; explain it to them.

To paraphrase Seinfeld: It was probably more offensive to comedians than homosexuals.

Dennis Miller is not a comedian. Even years ago, he was so hyper I wondered what he was on. But he wasn't funny. And now, he's pathetic.

I had a roommate that thought Dennis Miller was the greatest. I never understood him. Obscure historical references made him seem more intelligent than he actually was. I am an historian and i could easily read his "jokes" before he said them. way way overrated has-been. Not entertaining even by accident. Painfully boring gas bag. I think he was trying to steal Bill Maher material. At least Bill Maher is a thoughtful comedian, it actually takes work, Denny.

Dennis Miller switched from being a standup comic to a bilious talk show host when the foundation of his act, "the word fuckini", didn't get laughs anymore. However, it goes over well with right wing literati, and Miller has at last found a home.

Righties are awful comedians. Fact. Thats why Dennis Miller fits in. At least give him credit for finding out that his material was lame and then finding the right audience.
