Palin

In an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Sarah Palin says she's ready to work with President Barack Obama -- but she just can't let Bill Ayers go. From the transcript:

PALIN: It would be my honor to assist and support our new president and the new administration, yes. And I speak for other Republicans, other Republican governors also, they being willing also to, again, seize this opportunity that we have to progress this nation together, a united front.

BLITZER: Because, you know, during a campaign, every presidential campaign, things are said, it's tough, as you well know, it gets sometimes pretty fierce out there. And during the campaign, you said this, you said: "This is not a man who sees America as you see it and how I see America."

And then you went on to say: "Someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he is palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

PALIN: Well, I still am concerned about that association with Bill Ayers. And if anybody still wants to talk about it, I will, because this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist who had campaigned to blow up, to destroy our Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol. That's an association that still bothers me.

And I think it's still fair to talk about it. However the campaign is over. That chapter is closed. Now is the time to move on and to, again, make sure that all of us are doing all that we can to progress this nation.

Keep us secure, get the economy back on the right track, and many of us do have some ideas on how to do that and hopefully we'll be able to put all of that wisdom and experience to good use together.

BLITZER: So looking back, you don't regret that tough language during the campaign?

PALIN: No, and I do not think that it is off-base nor mean-spirited, nor negative campaigning to call someone out on their associations and on their record. And that's why I did it.

BLITZER: I just want to sort of footnote, was that your idea or did somebody write those lines for you?

PALIN: It was a collaborative effort there in deciding how do we start bringing up some of the associations that perhaps would be impacting on an administration, on the future of America. But again, though, Wolf, knowing that it really -- at this point, I don't want to point fingers backwards and play the blame game, certainly, on anything that took place in terms of strategy or messaging in the campaign.

Now is the time to move forward together, start progressing America.

A woman with an IQ of .05 yeah, that a credible statement alright. Keep talking Palin so that you can continually relieve us of any doubt of just how stupid you really are.

Careful. She's the last best hope of the "new and improved" republican party.

I was a teenage doing this time and I thought the weathermen were cool until the bombing then I held back from the support and hoped they learned one imperial idea is enough and neither we should follow violence with violence. I always thought this man was sexy and intelligent and American and after the interview I still consider him that. I took courage to stand up against the Vietnam war in the 60's and the 70's...Ayers did so as an American and was ashamed of American imperialist ways and what to save his country from lowering itseslf...I stood against the Vietnam War for it took away my cousins and my stepbrother doing this war...I feel Palin needs to visit her history books on the war and understand this fact if he and others has not made a big deal about the war in Vietnam then McCain would not have been here to run for president and other soldiers held as POW's would have been killed on the stop...thamk God some one stood against imperialism...Palin needs to revisit here History books for being a president and a vice president would mean knowing your history -American history and then world history of the 20th century...without that we are doomed to repeat our past and since she was not elected the people proved they understood history and had no desire to repeat our imperialist history....

I wouldn't go giving Ayer's any accolades. The less his name is mentioned, the better.

I;m sorry but I really enjoy and look forward to news about Sarah Palin. She so tickles my funnybone and gives me a much needed laugh break at the end of a long and tiring day. So please keep her coming...she should be dubbed America's laugh therapy.

I didnt see the interview uh..uh...that is being quoted here uh....but it appears uh...that blitzer asked palin about her uh...bringing up uh....ayers during the race. She can uh....speak complete sentences and she does if you watch many of her uh...interviews. She has gone back to Alaska-pretty much all of the interviews I have seen of her have taken place when the media has went to uh...Alaska to interview her. She was of course at the Republican governor's conference in Miami...since she is a republican governor. I was speaking with so many of the "uhs" to honor some of the clips I have seen of uh...Obama responding to questions without a teleprompter.

Uh, that's from an old Rush Limbaugh spoof where he pulled out all thea "uhs" and wraped them in a continuous loop. No such tricks are needed to make Palin seem incoherent. When Obama speaks, his intelligence shows, unlike Palin. We've heard them both, no comparison. Now go back to Rush and leave the huffpo to the grownups.

Well at the governors convention she read it verbatim off her speech notes...her head was down more than up...Palin is only as good as her teleprompter.....

"My concern has been the atrocities there in Darfur and the relevance to me with that issue as we spoke about Africa and some of the countries there that were kind of the people succumbing to the dictators and the corruption of some collapsed governments on the continent, the relevance was Alaska"s investment in Darfur with some of our permanent fund dollars."

OMFG! This is a Palin quote. Read and reread it and let me know if it makes sense. Not only is it one long run-on-sentence, but it's nonsense. Slamming a bunch of nouns, verbs and conjunctions together does not represent an intelligent thought. This woman is d.umber than Bush. I mean really, she's still stuck on Ayers? Her side just got spanked in the election and she's still stumping about Ayers? It's like they didn't debrief her after the loss. I also liked her offer to help the new president. I'm sure that Obama is thinking "where can I place that Palin in my administration"? Give me a f...ing break!

Here's a translation into English:

My concern has been the atrocities in Darfur. We spoke about Africa and some of the countries there that had fallen to dictators and corruption and about some of the collapsed governments on the continent. My concern was Alaska's investment in Darfur through some of our state funds.

The only reason she mentions Darfur at all is because polls show that it's one of the top three issues young evangelicals care about. Opportunism is the engine that propels her.

No...she doesn't think she got spanked...she is the hero....she saved the day....McCain told her so...it was all him. She is too dumb to look any further than what someone whispered in her ear.

Someone must of told her it looks intelligent if you just add as many words as possible....to a single thought.

Why does the news media continually giving Palin free never ending time for the promotion of her possible run in 2012???
Palin lost the election and Obama have to pay for his political campaign time in his bid for presidency.
The news media has made Palin a star...

Can this stupid woman ever get a complete sentence out of her mouth?

ENOUGH of this rambling. Forest Gump makes more sense.

Go away, Palin.

It's been a week that she's been free. Can we go maybe a month without seeing her? If all the media ignores her for a month, I predict she will spontaneously combust and we won't have to worry about her ever again.

Remember when the campaign was saying how she hasn't been "allowed" to show who she really is? I guess this is it and it's so annoying.

I was hoping she would disappear and not be on the tv after Obama won but no not that lucky fox 2 hours and all the other interviews and stuff PLEASE GO AWAY

Truth is I hope she does run next time around and wins the nom because by that time the economy should be sorted and that will get Obama a second term alone so she would be on the end of an even bigger landslide than mccain and her were this time
