Palin: "I'm Comfortable With Barack Obama As Our Commander In Chief" (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has given President-elect Barack Obama a conditional vote of confidence on handling the war in Iraq.

Palin, who has been granting a series of interviews this week, said she would feel comfortable with the Illinois Democrat as commander in chief so long as he surrounds himself with advisers who understand threats against the United States.

In an interview broadcast Wednesday on NBC's "Today" show, Palin was asked whether she felt secure with the notion of Obama being in charge of national security.

She replied: "I'm comfortable with Barack Obama as our commander in chief, assuming that he has those around him who recognize .... that terrorists have not changed their minds ... Those who recognize what the threat is and how to deal with the threat."

Palin's oldest son, Track, is serving in Iraq.

I am sick to death of seeing her everyday on the news. She has no command of the english language and she says the same thing over and over. She is still questioning the Bill Ayers ties with Obama which is just plain redamndiculous, and she certainly should not be considered as a leader of the GOP. I think it is comical that these supposedly very bright people keep promoting her. Is that all the GOP has got to offer because if is, they will never take control of the White House again. She needs to go back to Alaska and stay there.

In September and October Sister Sarah was calling Barack a terrorist, in November after her defeat , she gives a green light to Barack becoming the next commander in chief. Unbelievable.
Obama admitted in his speech after claiming victory that he may not succeed at every thing but he will be honest with the American people all the time. I can respect that, not those politician who say things just b/c it is expedient to say it.

This woman has a favorability rating only a little higher than Bush. Why is everyone forcing her on us? when all I want is to see more about the biggest winner, NOT the biggest loser. Who cares if she is comfortable or not? There is nothing she can do about it. I don't even care about her opinion.
