Senator Gramm your scheduled fitting time has arrived. This is a lovely color of orange and the matching shackles will look marvelous. Now look this way for your photos, please hold the number up. Now turn for your profile, number up please. Marvelous, do you want any wallet size?

These are the 20,000 Americans who avoided paying $300 million in taxes on $20 billion in profits - these are the ones that the Republicans don't want Obama to raise their taxes - these un-Americans don't even want to pay their reduced taxes. Sweet!

The party is over for billionaires, maybe if you pay your fair share for awhile our economy can get back on track, until then your trust fund babies will have to settle for just being filthy rich instead of obscenely rich.

oh my gosh, finally the DOJ is tackling off shore banking... UBS must have pissed off somebody in the Bush administration because this has been an issue since before Bush....

Switzerland, Cayman Islands, Monaco are all tax havens and any money going there or coming from there should be taxed at the gitgo...Then these people can file their taxes with the 1099s and get any overpayments back after PROPERLY AUDITING THE TAXes... OBAMA NEEDS TO FIND about 2000 tax accountants to get this done properly and whatever it takes for the system changes, we cannot let this money slip thru our fingers at this time in history....

I just read that the UK is home to the largest number of tax havens in the world...Isle of Man - The Isle of Man has its own government but is a dependency of the British crown meaning that the UK looks after its foreign affairs and defence but apart from that it remains strictly hands off allowing the government of the Isle of Man to manage the important things like taxes!

The jurisdiction has been an offshore haven for many years and as a direct result has a highly sophisticated structure of compliance and control in place to protect investors and those who have interests in the Isle of Man, this provides massive investor confidence and has resulted in the island becoming one of the safest and most attractive worldwide tax havens.

Does Obama pose a threat to the Isle of Man?
I note a report that says:

Isle of Man Treasury Minister Allan Bell has sounded a note of warning about new US president Barack Obama’s intentions towards offshore banking centers. Commenting on the election result, he said:

I am sure this is a major improvement on what we have lived with for the past eight years, but - and it’s a big but - he has been very focused on closing down what he sees as offshore financial centers or tax havens. He has not differentiated between well-regulated jurisdictions like the Isle of Man and rogue ones that should be closed down.

There’s good reason Mr Bell. Not one person in the US Senate thinks you are well regulated. Perhaps you have not read Carl Levin’s report of August 2006. But they have. And they know how badly it portrayed the Isle of Man.

Expect no favors Mr Bell. I do not expect any to be given.

JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Great about the UBS official. Let's get any and everyone who had any involvement in the global financial meltdown. Charge them all regardless of what country they reside, especially those with million dollar parachutes.
