Jean Biden: Meet Joe Biden's 'Mom Mom' (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Amid reports that Michelle Obama's mother Marian 'First Granny' Robinson will be moving to the White House, we thought it was time to look at the ticket's other adorable grandmother: Joe's 92-year-old mother Katherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden, also known as Jean or as 'Mom Mom.'

When Joe Biden spoke at the DNC on August 27th, he gave a shout-out to his mom: "I thank God and I'm grateful that my mom Katherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden is here tonight. Mom, I love ya!" The crowd went wild and Jean appeared to get teary. He went on to recall that "As a child I stuttered and she lovingly would look at me and tell me 'Joey, it's because you're so bright you can't get the thoughts out quickly enough.' When I wasn't as well-dressed as the other kids she would look at me and say 'Joey, oh, you're so handsome, honey, you're so handsome.' And when I got knocked down by guys bigger than me, and this is the God's truth, she sent me back out and said 'Bloody their nose so you can walk down the street the next day!'" Out in the audience, Jean Biden could be seen mouthing "That's true."

i doubt "first granny" is the correct term since she's biden's granny, just as todd palin as "first dude" was not only incorrect but also presumptuous.

2) They call Todd *Alaska's* First Dude; sometimes shortened to just First Dude, but nevertheless they never called him America's First Dude.

I like how she would boost his self-esteem when he stuttered as a kid by telling him how handsome and smart he was. :) And that part in Biden's auto-biography about her going down to the school principle to stick up for him when his teacher made fun of him in front of the whole class for his stutter- well. Awesome Mom. :)

Tears came to my eyes as I saw Barack go to Mom-Mom and lead her to the front of the stage.
Shows what a caring and great human being Barack is. I also get this comfortable feeling when I look at Joe Biden. Absolutely love Jill. Such a beautiful person.
