Jennifer Aniston On Oprah (VIDEO)

As reported yesterday by People magazine, Jennifer Aniston appeared on Oprah Thursday to promote her Christmas film "Marley & Me," but first talked about her Vogue interview in which she called Angelina Jolie's comments about the genesis of her relationship with Aniston's then-husband Brad Pitt "uncool." She also talked about Brad, her pride for him, and her feelings on their movies coming out the same day (his is "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).

Also on the show, but not in the clip below, Aniston talked about her dogs (who skyped in on video conference from California) and her election night with David and Courteney Cox Arquette, for which she made an Obama-icing-ed cake.

Wow, as I watch her I can see she's still in love with him. I don't think she's ever really moved on yet. Watchers & readers will note that Brad Pitt has NEVER ONCE spoken a single sound negatively about her or their marriage breaking up, which is the sign of an honorable gentleman. Maybe talking about it helps her, but it doesn't do Jen any favors to comment personally on Angelina. They do not know each other, and there was plenty of proof that Brad & Jen had very different priorities that were moving them in opposite directions.
He clearly wanted a family, and she did not, she wanted a career. The choices they both have made following the end of their marriage demonstrate their priorities. If Jen had really wanted children & a family, she certainly has the means to do so on her own. I hope she's able to continue to move forward.

There is a moment in the above video around 1:25-1:35 that you can see it. It's almost like she is trying to suck it all in and be brave but you can see it all over her face.

Losing a love is very hard. I did in high school and my first year of college. After that I got very lucky and found the love of my life 13 years later we are still happy, strong and growing with each other. I see that type of success in Brad and Angelina.

I hope for her sake Aniston can find that type of love for herself and really move on.

she clearly hasn't moved on. moving on would have meant that she wouldnt have commented to the question the way she did. i dont think she has realized what drove them apart. angelina is an easy person to blame. but the truth is that whatever drove them apart is probably playing a role in her life as she keeps choosing men who fail to stick around.

Honorable does not equate here. He publicly fooled around with another woman while still married to Aniston. Why would he have to express anything negative about her when his actions spoke so much louder than words? I can't believe people are actually sticking up for him. It's over and many years in the past and I doubt Aniston would have brought it up if it wasn't asked by the interviewer. To her credit, she answered honestly. It was very uncool for Pitt and Jolie to behave that way but it is over and it's time to move on.

it seems contradictory to me if someone has moved on to answer a question that seems to have no relevance in her life. she could have refused to answer. the fact that she didn't shows that she hasnt moved on.

Jen Aniston has more money than God and is minimally talented; altogether a fairly vapid person whose still trying to shove her "dramatic" acting skills down the public's throat.
Why would she comment publicly about her ex-husband and Jolie if not for the attention.­..she had to know it would garner some.

I understand. Brad was hot, but he is obviously into hanging out in Africa with crazy Angelina (I love her equally) and raising numerous kids, and that's cool, too. Jennifer got away clean, even though I know it hurt. She must be approaching 40 now and hearing that biological clock tick while her ex husbands new wife is popping out babies east and west. I understand how she must feel inside but I don't think she should even comment on Brad. Jennifer's above that and even acknowledging a 4 year divorce at all in public looks like bitterness. JA can talk about Angelina all she wants as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if Angelina was instrumental in breaking up Brad and Jen's marriage, but she wasn't blameless. Whatever the case,Angelina got off lightly. I don't care for her, and I haven't fallen for her Mother Theresa act.

I don't think she is trying to be Mother Theresa though. I think she is a modern woman that wants to use her spotlight and wealth to bring attention to world issues. What is the harm in that.

I wonder what would have happened if it would have been some other woman that Brad hooked up with, would you and your friends here be so up in arms over it? Are you just upset that Angelina is more successful then Jennifer and don't think that is fair? Do you in some way benefit for hating Angelina in the matter that you do?

I love Angelina, I relate to her on a lot of levels. We have a lot in common and I have been a fan of hers since Hackers and Gia.

I love Brad, he seems to have avoided the Oprahication that most men have to endure these days. He cares about the world, seems to be a great father to all those kids and he is unashamed about his love for Angelina. He is also a great actor and was willing to take some risks and made them pay off.

I like Aniston. I do wish she would take chances and would have used her "Friends" heat better. I think she can do better then John Mayer, and I wish her happiness that video above to me doesn't look like she is over anything and I hope she can heal one day.

jen if you want someone else to be discreet, then perhaps you should practice the same? more importantly, vogue may not be the best place for you to sort out your pain over your marriage as people exploit that pain to sell magazines. perhaps its in your best interest that you understand that "answering questions honestly" about something you want to forget is contradictory and in the end commodifies a very private emotion that you felt at a troubling time in your life.

Jennifer has rarely responded to anything said of the two adulators in her past. She has been a class act.
This whole thing was brought on because Angie does not have the graciousness to edit herself and think gosh I probably should not talk about how we fell in love on the set when Brad was married to Jennifer it might just reflect poorly on us both. (Ironically this coming from a woman who will not speak to her father because he cheated on her mother during a film shoot which ultimately ended their marriage.)
Jennifer simply said it was uncool nothing wrong with that I think many of us probably would have said a whole lot more that that truth be told.
It seems me that all three people are where they are happy now, so be it.

again get over it dear Jen. I think you are a ditz, I agree with some here. So what, your man wanted another woman? Who cares? At least AJ is so beautiful, intelligent, self-aware, loving, confident, pretty, just plain gorgeous. If AJ was another and uglier than you, things would probably be different huh?
