A documentary, more than two years in the making, about President-elect Barack Obama's campaign is gathering significant interest from international distributors just days after being picked up in the United States by HBO. A team of directors and editors backed by the actor Edward Norton is furiously editing the untitled project.

Given the historic nature of Mr. Obama's victory and worldwide interest in the presidential race, the film is drawing attention from the BBC and other foreign broadcasters. Since the HBO acquisition was announced, "we've had an enormous number of incoming calls from territories all over the world," said Andrew Hurwitz, an entertainment lawyer who is representing the film along with the talent agency Endeavor.

Behind-the-scenes snapshots of campaigns have become a documentary staple, with "The War Room," about President Bill Clinton's 1992 run, and "Journeys With George," about President Bush's 2000 race, being two recent examples. The film about Mr. Obama's 21-month campaign may prove to be an especially big draw overseas.

You can all huddle up and watch this POS after this clown destroys our country. Tell me how great he is when you lose your job to his tax plan.

Its great to finally have a Pres that is loved by the rest of the world!
And if you don't think he is loved you haven't seen the News sources from around the world that showed cheering crowds, even in Russia, CSPAN had a great run down after the election.

Norton's a good liberal and a smart guy so I'm sure he chose serious people to back in making this documentary. I can't wait to see it.

It's interesting to note that Endeavor is representing the film. That's Ari Emanuel's shop, Rahm Emanuel's brother.

Obama really is a celebrity isn't he? I wonder if he ever feels overwhelmed by his new celebrity status.

Wow. You people have really lost your ability to insult since you lost your ability to win elections.

Good luck with Ms. Palin. On your way now... shoo!

Hey Rocky - check out DeniseD's profile before you jump all over her. She's obviously not a RNC troll just writing the insults...her remark was not, in my opinion by the evidence of her comments, is not meant to be an insult.

Sorry, I didn't see this as a Republican attack. More of an awestruck response to what would certainly be an overwhelming experience for us!

Well, I too must add my voice to this chorus and I will also state that we now get to enjoy one of the greatest perks of being a liberal... we can rightfully lay claim to the smartest, brightest, sexiest and the more gorgeous people as compared to the ill-gotten GOP mob.

I mean, seriously, Ed Norton, John Cusak, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Robert DeNiro, plus the producers, Ron Howard, Steven Speilberg and Michael Moore have all publically recorded support messages for Obama, the ENTIRE music community (well the cool ones anyway), the rest of Hollywood, then we have all the great late night TV hosts, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan Obrien, etc... then there's the entire line of nightly news crews which is EVERY single one of them except for JD Scarborough and Faux News.

I mean, seriously, it's an embarrassment of riches really. Life is good!

I agree, how perfect is that, right? I knew there'd be something in the works, but this exceeds my hopes. Did everyone watch 4 days in Denver? I think they still have it up on the Obama website. It is soooo good. I've turned my entire family onto it.

I am also looking for the publishing of photo books, the coffee table type, it'll be a true test of the publishers of the world... Christmas is commmmming... hurry the heck up!!!! I have six people on my list who are typically IMpossible to buy for, they would LOVE something like that. Also, if HBO has their act together, they could simultaneously push this film as an HBO exclusive AND a DVD collection at the same time....sweeeet!
