"Pregnant Man" Expecting Second Child (VIDEO)

Thomas Beatie, the controversial "pregnant man" who gave birth to a daughter earlier this year, reveals to Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview that he is pregnant again with his second child.

Thomas Beatie, a transgender, welcomed a baby girl, Susan, June 29. Since sharing the story of Susan's birth with ABC News, he and his wife, Nancy Beatie, hadn't spoken to the media until they sat down last month with Walters.

Thomas Beatie, who is in his first trimester, tells Walters he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after Susan's birth so he could have another baby.

He was born with a uterus, ovaries and all the other biological parts of a female. That makes it no big deal that he is having a baby. I call him "HE" because that is his gender identity--and that is what he wants to be called and identified as.

When a biological male has a baby--we can all get excited--and enjoy watching the pigs take flight.

I love how this whole thing freaks people out.

Give these people a break. When they married they both knew the wife couldn't conceive and they waited (like every couple) and chose a time to have a child. The husband was capable of doing this so why wouldn't they do it this way? I would bet that there are a great many couples who really really want children and would do this if it were an option for them.

At the end of the day I see two people who love each other, are committed to each other, and have a beautiful child. What does it hurt us to let them be happy?

That's the problem. People are so concerned about THEIR own happiness and mental issues they don't see how it could effect the child. Sorry, but no matter how you slice it these kids are highly likely to be screwed up when they discover "Dad" is really "Mom". You don't solve your idiosyncrasies and psychological issues by bringing innocent children in the world like they are a mop or dishrag to clean up your emotional mess.
