Potential Palin Rival: "Let Her Be The Sacrificial Lamb For 2012"

A strategist for a rival potential presidential rival e-mails to express amusement with Gov. Sarah Palin's come one, come all PR strategy:

"Fine with us. Let her be the sacrificial lamb for 2012."

Which means: a lot of the folks who you'd think are angling to run in 2012 are certainly preparing to do so, but they're looking to and thinking about 2016....

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Palin running for VP.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Sarah is a 'post turtle'.'

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.'

Much as I hate to say this,Pawlenty is doing a great job of making her look totally foolish and if anything ,and I mean ANYTHING, goes wrong with Obama's first term,he is going to run and do well. He's the only Repug I've seen thus far who makes any sense. I hope Obama does a good job of cleaning up the Republican mess he's left with so it's not even an issue.

If Obama does extremely well, they'll throw her out there to test out their latest smear campaign tactics. They'll let her loose and try and demoralize Obama and his family as much as possible. She will harness everything that is wrong with Atwater, Rove, Kristol and Schmidt into the most demonizing and hateful campaign anyone has ever witnessed. The entire campaign will be to ensure this nations divides are clear cut to set things up for 2016.

After catching some of the coverage of the Governor's conference, I thought it will be fun to watch the Republican primary next time around if Palin runs. Those guys will eat her for lunch! Just think of ALL the ammunition they have from this campaign. May be best to let her own party eat her!

You are so right. They have plenty of good ammo to make some degrading tv ads. They can show clips of the Katie Couric interviews to show her lack of knowledge and how she babbles when she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about, the Larry King interview when she said she wants to make sure the media should start reporting facts and be more objective and less commentary (dare I say possibly reintroducing the Fairness Doctrine, bye bye Fox News), and her stump speeches on the campaign trail about the real parts of America. Wait until Todd's membership in the AIP is really brought out in the MSM, the poop may hit the fan. Palling around with secessionists, anyone???

She's starting to resemble that Katherine Harris chick; the one who stopped the vote count in Florida in 2000. What is it with Republicans and makeup? I always thought they would wear very little makeup and fix their hair nicely, instead of looking like tarts.
