I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Britney

The UK Sun got a longer look at the Britney Spears documentary airing November 30th on MTV. The first look at the show, seen here, showed Britney saying, "what the hell was I thinking." Spears filmed the series after a year in which she got divorced, acted out in public, shaved her head and went to a psychiatric ward. She is now able to see her two sons again, but she is in the care of her father and ex-husband Kevin Federline has custody.

But all may not be as it seems. According to the UK report:

in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary she tearfully admits: "There's no excitement, there's no passion.

"I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you're gonna get out.

"But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day."...

She says: "I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening.

"If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time.

"I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free."

The show premieres in the UK December 1.

Oh, boo-hoo-hoo.

Such a pitiful situation to be in.

Apparently, through no fault of her own.

Maybe she should spare a few drops of that self-pity for those beautiful little sons of hers who deserved better?

I have no sympathy with someone who because she was basically a selfish B put aside being a mother for trying to be a party girl. Why oh why she still gets some dayum press coverage and she has less than mediocre talent is beyond me!!! While I hope she gets help for her multiple issues she has I wish just like Sarah Palin SHE WOULD JUST GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you have to degrade someone to make yourself feel better. I'm also sorry someone is forcing you to watch the "dayum press coverage" I guess you must feel like your in jail.

People with bi-polar disorder feel this way alot. I think particularly when they are on medication. Most of us do better living in a routine with some adventure thrown in here and there for fun. People who are bi-polar don't react well to the routine. It makes them feel abnormal because they're not used to it. They're used to being "by the seat of your pants" type people. It's like they're not happy unless they can live in a way that most of us would deem totally neurotic. I grew up with a bi-polar mom, and part of me really feels for her kids. I know what they're in for.

Perhaps jail might help. It might help her appreciate the Lamborghini/Blackberry/whateveryouwantwheneveryouwant existence she now cannot acknowledge as awesome. Britney, come do my job, I'll do yours. Seriously. We can switch back once you're all waked up.

I love your comments and agree completely!! She need to see how people really struggling with a job and the ecomony are doing!! Hard to feel that bad for someone who used to pop in at a Mercedes Benz dealership, drop some $$ on a car and drive out with it!!!

And then rear end you and split without stopping! She's so full of herself. If it's sooo bad, then GO AWAY. If invested, she has enough money to live more than comfortably for the rest fo her life.

Her father has done a great job of keeping her under control.

The courts granted him legal control over Britney. He has full control over her medical treatment, the power to restrict any visitors to Britney, he's also in charge of arranging 24-hour caretakers for her as well as security and the judge gave him the power to cut off all of the singer’s credit cards and to prosecute any restraining orders on her behalf and he has full control of her residence and can legally remove anyone who is staying there.

I guess that's why Britney feels like it's a prison. Well until she can show her father and the courts that she can act like a sensible level headed adult and not go out and do erractic things then she won't gain control of her life or even get custody of her boys.

LOL

The Sun is not a good source. It's a tabloid.

The Sun also said they had read her mom's book and that she discussed Britney's sex life...that was NOT TRUE.

There's a list of wrong information they have printed; I feel that once a story is 'reported' by The Sun, it proves that it was just a rumor.

IRONY ALERT! Uh, Brittany? GROUNDHOG'S DAY is an existential black comedy about a rude self-obsessed egomaniac with delusions of grandeur who cannot even see, let alone care for, the people closest to him because he is convinced his greatness will lead to his escape from their shabby smallness to a big city network gig. The endless repetition of Groundhog's Day takes him on a relentless inward journey to smash the walls of his ego-prison. If you don't go within - you with out. He goes from denial, to self-indulgence, to recklessness, to nihilism, to rage, to depression, even to attempts at suicide. Sound familiar? As Jim Harrison phrases it, he needed a "...healthy dose of ego poison..." The only path to freeing himself from the grip of his Groundhog's Day existence is threefold: 1.) Acceptance of his fate, 2.) Genuine compassion for others (compassion is to joyfully suffer with, not to believe your greatness can save lesser mortals, as exampled by his helping the dying homeless guy even though his fate of death is given, and 3.) Learning to love someone more than he loves himself.

You want freedom from the ennui of your glamorous Groundhog's Day? You want escape from your well appointed prison? The path is the same. Walk on, Brit. Walk on.

try something more than a little snarky sarcasm, like articulating an actual thought, preferably one that is even remotely associated with what I posted...

Poor Brit. Aside from any chemical disorder she may have, she's the classic example of having too much too soon. Where does she go from here? She's still very young. Guess she feels like there is nothing to look forward to. Sad.

In a related interview, Brittany posed the following in a rant about her unfair life: "Why can't I just party and do drugs without consequences? It's not fair! It's like, just because you have kids - and I love my kids and stuff - but it's like just because you're like a mom or something, you can't do rolls at the club every night and drink and party! I mean it's like you can, but if you do, people like judge you and you get arrested and all that....I mean it's like jail! Why can't people just stop watching me for a couple of weekends a month even, so I could do rails, and x and party with my friends. I mean I can throw down for 72 hours straight and just get it out of my system two or three times a month and then the rest of the time be a good mom. Why!? Why!? Why!? It's SOOOO not fair!!!!!"

I hope that her experience can lend a voice to the many people in this country suffering from psychological problems and the struggle to find a healthy treatment. It's hard. I don't think we have all of the answers and are not asking all of the right questions yet.
