E.D. Hill To Leave Fox News Channel

TV Newser has learned that Fox News anchor E.D. Hill is leaving the channel after her contract was not renewed:

TVNewser has learned veteran Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill will not be renewed when her current contract expires. Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires.

SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best."

Hill gained notoriety several months ago when she referred to the "pound," "fist bump," or whatever you want to call the handshake that Barack Obama exchanged with his wife Michelle as a "terrorist fist jab."

Sorry... Fox News' ratings are not a guage of "complete and accurate', merely a measure of how many people are snowed by them or attracted by their plethora of good-looking news bunnies.

ANY worthwhile independent news watchdog organization will happily tell you that Fox News is consistently rated as the most biased and misleading.

The fact that Britney has fans and FOX News has viewers does not mean that they are infinitely talented nor worth a damn. I usually watch Fox. I admit occasionally they lean a bit to the right. When that happens I just switch to MSNBC for 30 seconds and I'm back to even.

The strength/largeness of those ratings has to do with two kinds of people: (1)those who tune in to keep tabs on what the opposition is saying/doing, and (2) those who want a cheap source of entertainment and who are actually entertained by the illogical ditherings of right-wing nutjobs like yourself.
Fox's numbers do not reflect the large numbers of true believers. Those, statistically, turn out to be rather small.

FOX news is a great satirical news channel. It's like they took all the mythical villains of Batman and gave them a microphone. The late Frank Gorshin played a great Riddler but O'Reilly does him equally well. Honorable mention must go to Sean Hannity for his superb protrayal of the Joker.

And for the distaff side of FOX, they're all caricatures of the girlfriends of the villains, variations on the theme of Harley Quinn.

But, alas, the villains can get old, but their girlfriends cannot. So Ms. Hill gets written out of the script. And who might be next? How about the former Miss America from 1989?
