Travis Barker

Travis Barker, former Blink-182 drummer, gave his first televised interview since surviving a harrowing plane crash in September that killed four others and left him with serious burns. Barker, via satellite, spoke to Damien Fahey during the TRL Finale on MTV Sunday night.

"Thanks for all the support, and this is really exciting to be a part of this show... I feel better every day."

He said he's back on drums, getting more comfortable, and stayed soft-spoken during the 2-minute clip. "I'm thankful to be able to play."

I love Blink -182. But more than a great drummer, I know Travis as a really caring Dad. What a blessing he is still able to be with his children.

Whoever the host of the show was did all the talking.

You guys might want to check out the spelling on the side-scrolling headline for this. Or maybe you don't. It wouldn't be the first time the HuffPo slacked on exact quotes.
