Alec Baldwin On Kissing Jennifer Aniston: 'It Was Painful'

At last night's Tisch on Stage gala at the Time Warner Center, 30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin made a very brief stop on the red carpet and hurried away, but not before we leaped over the velvet rope, ran across the room, and cornered him. Sort of like how Jennifer Aniston, who played Liz Lemon's "Crazy Putty" friend, pursued Jack a few weeks ago on the show! Once we had Baldwin backed up against the wall, we asked what it was like to make out with Aniston, obviously. "It was painful," Baldwin sighed. "I mean, every man who's had to make out with her in TV and movies -- I don't know how they do it."

But did he believe in the episode's premise that unstable women are better in bed? Baldwin, who has a famously intense relationship with ex-wife Kim Basinger, guffawed and wagged a finger at us. (Phew -- we were half expecting he'd yell.) "That's assuming I've been with crazy women," he said. "If I answer that question in the affirmative, that would type a woman I've been with as being crazy, which I don't really feel like doing. But I hear it's true. I hear from my friends it's true."

Last night a poster, I can't recall the name responded to several of AA comments in 4 threads - Jolie/Pitt/X threads tagging them as inappropriate and uncalled for attacks against me. I was about to my make my responses last night but it was getting late.

I purseposely meant to post my response tonight, but these derogatory post by AA were deleted from the thread.

Alec Baldwin was joking. I know it gave the Jennifer detractors a thrill on the hill in spite of his sarcasm. And they accuse us of 'hating' when we say things about Pitts and Joles.

But if not, so what? I don't think that just because Aniston is hotter (to me, at least), she suffers from a kiss. Because a) that's her job and b) really, *I* didn't kiss her, so how would I know. Maybe it was really painful.
And if I had to choose - being said that I think Aniston's hotter - I'd still choose Baldwin. As a person, he's more attractive - to me.

I do. I'm a good 10 years younger than her and I would. Wouldn't have to ask me twice, either. So he's added a pound or two here and there. He's still hot. Always WAS hot. And nice. And smart, too. And a good sense of humor, which is why he made the JOKE in the first place. Why are so many Huffpo commenters humor deficient and quick to take offense about this? I think it's because people have a lot of sympathy for Jen, after Brad and Angie and all that. She's still rich, beautiful and having an on/off affair with one of the best looking and most talented young musicians in popular music. I think she's okay. In fact, I'd LOVE to be as okay as her!

Notice that during the week I was away, there were 4-5 threads for X and Jolie, Notice further, this is my first post on any of them since a week ago. So your summation that I snap every time X or Jolie names are mentioned is a flat out wrong. While I was away, I lurked, but never had the time to post. But I read the hatred you and others posted. Your right to voice an opinion. Most of my post are under Politics and Business. Yours and others are here in most of their threads. This is my 1st on X/Jolie's thread since 8 days ago.

"for the record" - for that phrase to be credible, you're required strict or hard proof i.e clarification by Baldwin "on record", in print or live media. Spins will hardly qualify. The only way you can disprove what Baldwin real intentions were, is for Baldwin himself to clarify what he actually meant.

Absence that, Baldwin said what he said - "Kissing Aniston is painful". A STATEMENT OF FACT, not subject for you or others to interpret so as to say with authority "for the record".

Next time, make your narrative credible. For the ump time - I will be civil and reasonable when you are, otherwise, I will play your game and will give you a run for your money. Fair is fair.

Till then, we agree to disagree on Jolie, regardless, I am still your fan. Believe that.
