Angelina Cries Talking About Late Mother (VIDEO)

Actress Angelina Jolie welled up with tears as she talked about her late mother at a press conference for her new film 'Changeling' in London on Monday, even cursing as she welled up (the word "fuck" is muted in the video below). Her mom Marcheline died of cancer early last year.

'We used to call her Marshmallow, as a joke, because she was just the softest, most gentle woman in the world.

'She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this (film) is very much her, her story.

'She was the woman I related to, who had that elegance and strength for knowing what was right.'

She and Brad agreed to wait to be together until after his divorce.

She knew what her father 's adultery did to her mom , and wanted to start a family with Brad only if he were free - because that was the right thing to do. By waiting, she and Brad showed enormous respect for all concerned.

Jolie did not hurt her mother . She honored her.

Really??? It's a movie about a mother's fight to find her child that pits her against the LA Police Dept and lands her in a mental institution. I guess it is horrible of her to think of her own Mother who sacrificed so much for her own children in connection with promoting this film. Keep in mind, this is based on a true story and probably resonates for many mother's on a personal level. That is like suggesting that it would be untoward of Steven Speilberg to bring up family he lost in the Holocaust while promoting Schindler's List. The personal attacks against this woman knows no bounds!

The interview where she bragged about going after Jennifer Anniston's husband while filming "Mr & Mrs. Smith was really low. I assume Brad was a little upset after that as he said nothing happened unti after he and Jenn broke up. She obviously doesn't care who she hurts, just so she gets publicity. Hey, I didn't even mention the blood vials. By the way, I am also someone whose mother died recently.

I'm assuming that most of the cynical comments here come from people who have not lost a parent or a close loved-one. Consider yourselves very lucky and fortunate.

It is a loss that you never forget, nor never truly heal from. My own mother died from cancer five years ago, and it's still extremely difficult for me to talk about it. I can't imagine having a dozen or so cameras trained on me, catching my raw emotions for everyone to witness, and pick-apart.

Agreed. I am sorry for your loss. I too went through the long painful battle with my Mother eight years ago. When I saw this video I cried. This is something that never stops hurting - watching a loved one go through a living hell is devastating. These heartless posters haven’t a clue.
