CTA Bus Crash Injures At Least 15

As many as 16 people were hurt this morning in a crash involving a CTA bus and two vehicles on the Near West Side.

The collision happened around 9:30 a.m. near Roosevelt Road and Blue Island Avenue, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

A spokesman said 15 people were taken to hospitals in fair condition and one other person was transported to a hospital in serious to critical condition.

The crash occurred near St. Ignatius College Prep. A CTA spokeswoman could not immediately comment.

i was just over there...went to jewel on roosevelt and i had to take detour...i was wondering what was up.
