Washington Post:

Democrats in the Senate called on President Bush to halt any effort by his administration to place political appointees in career jobs just weeks before his team leaves office.

But the White House yesterday said there is no orchestrated effort to embed Bush loyalists in the federal workforce before Barack Obama's inauguration Jan. 20. As happens with any handover of administration, hundreds of current officials in political jobs will be forced to relinquish their posts, and career workers will stay on.

If that filthy excuse for a human being (that would be bush) sets up our military to be under the control of baghdad, he should be locked up in guantanamo, even after obama closes it, and the key should be thrown away. He is giving them jurisdiction over our troops, under their laws, allowing them to tell them what they can or cannot do, who they can or cannot return fire to, and allowing them to read the PRIVATE MAIL of our forces. Bush is a criminal. STOP HIM, PLEASE, FROM DOING ANY MORE DAMAGE.

This is what happens when there is no brain and you are used to doing what us tell you to do.This is how he pays his debts to his croonies. OBAMA is a constitutional lawer, he will find out where the brainless slip up. JAIL the crook.

Well, love him or hate him, the time is coming near to say goodbye to George W. Bush. I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who has something to say to this President to post an open letter to GW at http://goodbye.us . This is a project to essentially create a time capsule of feelings and thoughts about the outgoing administration. So please, check it out and share!

Obama's work load just gets heavier and heavier with all these last minute signings by Dubya. And the mess just gets bigger. Why can't he just leave the mess as it is now and take off for the ranch? What is his problem?

I hope there is a massive email and phone campaign to President Obama and Congress to investigate the war crimes of his administration.

This has to be made right. America and Americans are wounded by what Bush did. Without accountability and knowing what really happened we will never heal.

Our imbecilic leader is trying to insure a lifetime of work and benefits for the cronies he gifted with plush positions. Dufus is not going to quietly into that 'good night' of political endings. While Laura is escorting the new first family through the living quarters of the White House, W is making 'whoopee' for all his buddies.

Likely there won't be much to worry about since most of Bush's people graduated from the Pat Robertson school of dough heads since 150 of these religious graduates were hired by the White House. These graduates have a very little grasp of anything other than their religious values so they likely won't be able to affect much of a change or policy on anything anywhere.

At least he's consistent, he's been an a--hole right to the end. Everybody in this criminal organization will ride into the sunset smiling and rich. Not a care in the world.

Yup, this is why Bush will be the most-hated President. While "Rome is burning" he is business-as-usual in driving ideology into each key department. Heckofa job, George!
