Barbara Walters Slams Rosie: Get On With Your Life, Rosie Responds (VIDEO)

Rosie O'Donnell posted this video today after the below clip occurred on "The View"

PREVIOUSLY:
Barbara Walters made a dig at former "View" host Rosie O'Donnell on Thursday. "There are some people who have done the show and then for years feel they have to dump on it... I resent it. If the shoe fits, lady, ladies, get on with your lives! We are not perfect. We are not always happy."

Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck agreed and Elisabeth singled out "one [year] more difficult than others".

Within seconds Walters was being told in her ear by the control room to "get on with it" and the subject was dropped.

Wednesday in Los Angeles Rosie spoke about her time on show, saying how Walters feigns camaraderie on the show. Former host Star Jones has been silent in recent months.

Rosie is right! She brought that show back from the gutter and Barbara would have everyone believe it was for the best that Rosie left. Rosie was the only reason anyone watched. After Rosie left,
Barbara tried to bring someone on that had as much of an individual personality. Whoopi Goldberg.
Let's admit Whoopi has her good and bad days, but it works. Antwho the story is old and noone really cares what Rosie says of thinks. It's Barbara's show.

Healthy dissension is good, a panel member who is unaware of issues regarding human rights is a liability.

I hate to, but I have to agree. It's pretty sad that the View has someone on the panel who is as prejudiced against gay and lesbian rights as she is. It's just too outdated. This is 2009! It makes it look like "The View" supports that kind of prejudice. There must be intelligent republican women. They can't all be Palin/Hasslebecks. And if there aren't, then it's no wonder that party is dying.

Leave it to Elisabeth to point out that "one year" was more difficult than others. (for HER maybe) Ah, for the good times...I for one miss having someone on that show that would go up against little miss smarty-mouth. I, like many, LOATHE Elisabeth. She needs to realize that the ONLY reason they even keep her on that program is because she is the the woman everyone loves to hate. Rosie just speaks the truth that is obvious to everyone watching. No one actually thinks these women are friends. Hasselbeck is such a joke. I lost all respect for BW when she continued to allow her to spew her hate when anyone else would have been fired. Rosie brought that show back from the dead and now that the election is over its headed right back into the ditch where it belongs. Joy should have her own show (she is amazing on LKL) and Whoopie has a million other options. Rosie's new show is going to be amazing...can't wait!

Elisabeth was always the fountain through which all fox fake news propaganda poured. I did my best to look over it because it was clearly with Barbara's blessings. And now that I think about it, if that's not putting ratings before country, I don't know what is. Good grief Barbara, you knew it was propaganda, what if it had worked?? At a time like this in our country, what if it had worked? Don't act like shows don't influence votes. We know they do. You know it too.

and it taught them how to do the show -

the free give aways to the audience,

the way for the hosts to look at or not look at the screen,

and it got the hosts fridays off --

all of the hosts liked and continue to like these changes

they are UNGRATEFUL for the creative shot in the arm Rosie gave them...

You are at the top of your game when you are asking insightful, meaningful, and thought-provoking questions to those you interview to shine sunlight upon the facts of an issue, personality, cultural icon, even a war. Your insights have been consistently based on rational, repeatable thought processes fed by fact-based, verifiable information. Women with agile open minds are drawn to your brand for two reasons: you feed their minds a wholesome diet of truth and you model a thoughtful, intelligent woman in the world's spotlight. The diet keeps them strong and the role model promotes growth in numbers. Elisabeth Hasselbeck harms your brand. She's best when discussing "Living" topics. Her discussions about children and professional women (things she knows something about) have interest. Otherwise, she is out of her league in matters of collective importance, like wars, because she exhibits a closed-minded approach to the facts. Both her attitude & style betray your brand. Opinionated debates and interviews, based on beliefs and not facts, offend rather than enlighten. People are entitled to their beliefs but not to their facts. So why watch "The View" when that is what Elisabeth Hasselbeck represents? Whoopi, Joy, and Sherri get it. Elisabeth does not.

Now, why not take your own advice and let Rosie get on with her new show, which sounds more entertaining than The View. As far as ratings go, The View had the best year when Rosie was on the show. So, was it a difficult year or a successful year with Rosie on The View? Are you trying to use Rosie to bump up those ratings once again? Probably. Its dumb, so move on. Try to get your ratings with content not gossip and personal attacks! Why should Barbara be offended by Rosie's truthful answers to an honest question? Who cares if your panelists are friends or not? In fact, its more stimulating and entertaining if they are not friends yet still manage to work together. You don't need that deception to be successful.
