Joe The Plumber Secures Book Deal

One of the hilarious -- and sad! -- parts of Samuel "Joe The Plumber" Wurzelbacher's recent interview with CNN's Rick Sanchez was that moment where an exasperated J.T. Plumber whined at Sanchez, "Well, ask good questions then! Why don't you ask what I'm going to do now?" Awww! See, Joe The Plumber wasn't interested in being asked to account for whatever pseudo-intellectual swill was worming its way through his brain when he went out on the stump, with all of his opinions. No, no! Joe The Plumber just wanted to use the forum as a way of plugging all of his upcoming projects, like any good little fame-whore!

Well, one of those upcoming projects, as we first reported, was touted in the pages of today's New York Times. It seems that Wurzelbacher has secured a book deal with PearlGate Publishing. Is this for the book that he's been touting in advance of this deal on his website? Yes, apparently! (That website has a spiffy-new early 2000's redesign by the way, but buyer beware! The cost of a "Freedom Membership" has just gone up by a dollar!)

From the Times:

In an interview with Fox News Mr. Wurzelbacher said he could have signed a deal with a larger publisher. "But they don't need the help," Mr. Wurzelbacher said. "They are already rich. So that's spreading the wealth to me."

The book is going to be published on December 1, which, as Daily Intel puts it, is "an amazingly quick turnaround time." So much so that one can anticipate the book being either a compendium of Joe's typical hastily constructed "thoughtlettes" or a pop-up book about Bristol Palin's courtship and subsequent RNC-mandated shotgun wedding, for sad children.

Will a buyer need to secure his own crayons or will they be included?

In addition to memoirs from his fifteen minutes of semi-fame, I understand that Joe's book will contain useful advice to plumbers, such as "Don't ass, don't tail."

Felicty, Joe cannot write, nor can Joe spell. Joe is NOT writing the book. Thomas Tabback, who owns PearlGate Publishing IS writing the book & just using Joe as a pawn.

Well, Seinfeld was a show about nothing...

the difference being, of course, that Seinfeld was and is actually a funny, entertaining show, while JTP appears more and more to be a humorless, vacant, fameho windbag.

Joe the nonPlumber said, "he could have signed a deal with a larger publisher. "But they don't need the help," "They are already rich. So that's spreading the wealth to me."

NO JOE!!!! THE REASON YOU ARE USING PEALGATE PUBLISHING (WHICH HAS ONLY PUBLISHED ONE BOOK) IS BECAUSE THE OWNER, THOMAS TABBBACK, IS WRITING & PUBLISHING THE BOOK USING YOUR NAME ........

NO RESPECTABLE PUBLISHER WOULD DARE PUBLISH DRIVEL YOU WRITE .... HA HA HA HA HA ....

JOE BE LYING AGAIN ..... DOES JOE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TRUTH & A LIE?

Thomas Thabback is writing Joe the nonPlumber's book. Tom is the owner of PearlGate Publishing......

Joe is NOT a writer, NOT a plumber, NOT well-read, NOT smart, NOT planning on buying any plumbing business, does NOT pay taxes he owes (but sure takes $$ from our taxes)

So.... what IS JOE? A pawn for the christian rightwing ... a pawn that is disposable. These christian rightwingers set up a Federal non-profit under Joe's name. There are Federal Laws that dictate ALL activities non-profits are allowed to engage in. Betchya Joe don't know THAT .... When the christian rightwingers break those Federal Laws, the Feds will go after JOE and then the pawn will ... FALL.

Good luck Joe, you gotta lot to learn about what businesses these new friends of yours are setting you up in.

Yes, 'RW97', Joe The Plumber will be the first person to 'write' a book who has never read one. Just as Palin was the first candidate for Vice President who has never used punctuation and never uttered a sentence that communicated a coherent idea.

Have I actually died and gone to pig heaven ? Palin is the future of the Republican Party. Joe The Plumber is headed for a book tour. Perhaps the Bush 8 Years was my purgatory.

What exactly will he write about? Those few days in the national spot light, negative at that, don't
make many pages. And what exactly has he achieved. Did he finally earn his plumber's license,
did he get to make a living while being on stage shouting lies? I can't see him making the
TV Shows either since he has not accomplished anything.

Doncha just know something hastily gotten together in so few weeks will be a pearl?

He does not look like he's got anything to say to anyone... and I'm not spending a dime to
find out just how dumb he is.
