Rove

Today's Wall Street Journal features an op-ed from former White House Adviser Karl Rove that's filled with cautions and advice and ruminations on the obvious offered up to Barack Obama because Rove just wants to go on helping out as the president's brain and stuff. Anyway, aside from having the most strangely misleading deck copy in the world (it reads "There may be more difficulties than he realizes in closing Gitmo" when in fact the only mention of Gitmo comes in the eleventh paragraph of this sixteen paragraph editorial), the piece is noteworthy for this paragraph, stuck in at the end, where Rove tries to work in one last "suspicious associations" charge on Obama, for auld lang syne:

There is also a thorny local controversy. Should the new president replace U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, who prosecuted Mr. Obama's fund-raising patron, Tony Rezko, and is investigating high-profile Democrats?

HAHA YES, Karl! Would you be referring to the same U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald who - uhm...investigated you and other high-profile members of the Bush White House in the Valerie Plame CIA leak scandal? And, wouldn't you know, Karl, from personal experience, Karl, whether it's wise or not to remove a bunch of U.S. Attorneys for political reasons?

He will be shunned by society for a long time. As more banks, businesses and industry fail it will be more obvious this is what the gop had in mind. The MAJORITY WILL REMEMBER FOR A LONG TIME. Rove should have eggs thrown at him and his for the rest of time.

After reading this article, it is plain to see how juvenile the thought pattern of this man really is. I suppose because he spent so much time working for Alfred E. Newman, he thinks everyone will fall for his shinanigans. Sad Sad Sad.

rove actually thinks someone is listening to his crap--perhaps the right wing losers-but not any thinking person---

The gop is acting like they still have a majority. They are hopelessly dishonest. Forever mired in politics first second and third. They would destroy the world three times over again to get back in the majority. I think my lifes calling should be never letting anyone forget their dishonesty.

I have a better idea. Patrick Fitzgerald should be made special prosecutor over Karl Rove.

And stay on the case with unlimited funds until he is so under the jail, we don't even remember he ever existed.

The Rove guy ranks right up there with Joe the Plumber on who the hades cares? Cameron and Harris wrote a whole book puffing Klove's expertise about How to Win in 2008. No mention at all about Obama. HIs name is not even in the index. Obama was nominated and won this election without these experts and Rove's advice and he can sure govern without there advice.

Lee Atwater was this guy's mentor...they are made of the same stuff...no ethics, unprincipled. In fact, Lee Atwater claimed to experience a religious conversion towards the end of his life, stating that he read the Bible every day. After his death, when going through his things, the Bible was found, fully sealed in cellophane, never having been opened. So, Rove goes...spinning for as long as he is in a body. Pay no attention to this slime.

This is one area where I'm hoping as well as expecting Obama to really stack the deck. Repubs can't be reasoned with and they never ever change their minds. You just have to get rid of them - and those repub Judges have caused lots of problems.

A pathetic, habitually sleazy attempt to salt the crops before he and his fellow scoundrels void the field. They do offend our sight.

MC Rove should be scrubbing toilets with a Joe the Plumber JohnnyMop soon, if there was justice in this world. Instead he will be coddled and soothed by Bush's cronies for the rest of his life.
