Sarah Palin Turkey Incident: Does TV Interview While Turkeys Are Slaughtered In The Background (VIDEO)

Some videos you just have to see to believe. On Thursday, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin appeared in Wasilla in order to pardon a local turkey in anticipation of Thanksgiving. This proved to be a slightly absurd but ultimately unremarkable event. But what came next was positively surreal. After the pardon Palin proceeded to do an interview with a local TV station while the turkeys were being SLAUGHTERED in the background!! Seemingly oblivious to the gruesomeness going on over her shoulder, she carries on talking for over three minutes. Watch the video below to see for yourself. Be warned, it's kind of gruesome.

This guy was on MSNBC today, talking about the new PAC committee that is thanking Palin
( gag) and he said, that they have enough money to run ads during the Thanksgiving football shows. Now that takes alot of bread, who is donating and how much? Someone needs to investigate this because he said they were receiving tens of thousands of dollars from contributions. Somehow I don't believe this. He also said, that Obama raised millions, so I guess he has dollar signs in his eyes. I hope he knows the Federal Campaign laws, because he said it takes alot of money to run for office. I wonder who that PAC members are?

BTW he thinks we are mean with our posts on this board. He mentioned Huffington during the interview. LOL Maybe someone from Huffington can get the clip from MSNBC and post it here.

He better find out what the majority of Americans feel about Palin. OMG it's to early for the next Presidential campaign, tell these guys to go away. I hope people complain to the National Republican Committee, the Federal Election Committee and voice your concerns about the money being donated, how much per person etc to see if they are violating any election laws.

What is the point of pretending to pardon a turkey. If Palin was not going to eat turkey on Thanksgiving it might have some meaning, but to pardon a thanksgiving turkey, yet eat one for dinner is ridiculous. Also, since I am sure she is pro-death penatly, feigning compassion by pretend-pardoning the life is of an animal makes it even more absurd.

I think she may have did this on purpose, she knows she will be critized no matter what she does.
It is interviews like this that will keep her controversial and strong in the eyes of everday down to earth people that are not in touch with elite arrogance.
I am thankful that Mcain introduced her to the public, but I think she will be more infuential without his team telling her what to do and say.

I love that Sarah Palin considers herself as the future of the Republican Party. She still doesn't grasp that she killed any chance McCain had for grabbing the presidency and the that the main reason people like her is the comedic factor of what she'll say next! I must admit that I will miss all the coverage she got. She never failed to entertain me. And with videos like this still coming out she's still quite entertaining!

Well, at least we now have a full appreciation of the process of how the turkey arrives at the table. It didn't seem that gruesome to me, just put the head in that contraption and do whatever needs to be done...i'm sure the throat was slit, but when the guy lifted the first turkey out, there was no stream of blood.

Anyway, they guy had to have known that he was being taped...ma­ybe palin was aware, maybe not, but what do ya do in a situation like that? Couldn't the media have said...hey­, let's move over here, or couldn't the guy have waited until the interview was over?

Not that i ever was a palin/mccain supporter (although, i'm sure many would accuse me of it), the election is over and the candidate the people wanted actually won this time.
