The young woman at the center of the historic downfall of the governor of New York is finally speaking out.

Ashley Dupré, the 23-year-old former escort who was the target of intense media scrutiny in the days after Gov. Eliot Spitzer's resignation from public office, has stepped forward to give her first television interview. Dupré told ABC News' Diane Sawyer that she does not feel responsible for Spitzer's downfall.

"If it wasn't me, it would have been someone else," she said. "I was doing my job. I don't feel that I brought him down."

While the Bankers may have been behind the investigation, it was Spitzer alone who is responsible and brought himself down. If he hadn't been doing something wrong (illegal)
there would have been nothing to "catch him" at.

Everyone is flawed, Spitzer had two problems: being holier than thou and totally patronizing
and indulging in illegal activity. He did do some good along the way, though he also ruined a lot of lives as collateral damage.

Mr. Obama, please consider legalizing the prostitution, not because I am interested nor because I support it, simply because it is unfair that a big majority of these girls are shopping happily for luxurious things, driving nice cars while they do not contribute at all to the taxes and again we spend money in dedicating our law enforcement to prosecuting them and their clients. It is almost cruel now that in crisis times the queens are wandering around with not a dime of obligation toward our society, the one they enjoy and take advantage of while decent hardworkers are strugling with their lifes and their taxes.
