He's a bully and she loves to be scolded. It's unwatchable.

I really enjoy the show. Joe can seem angry at times but at least he says it like he means it. I would like to see Mika express her more liberal views and be a little more serious... like when she fills in for David Gregory... but then I like the lighter side of her too. Willie...he just needs more air time and more news you can't use stuff. He makes me laugh!

The three of them plus Mike, Pat, Chuckie T (Go Canes), and the other regulars make it a great show. I just wish it would air on weekends.

Of all the conservative mouthpieces, Joe is probably the most entertaining and informed. He drives me crazy, but you know that if you confronted him on the street, he'd explain his point.

The show works. I don't know why, but am up at like 4:30am just to watch them and if I am up late like 5:30am then I am upset I missed them all.

I agree with most Joe is tiring. But you know I like the way the show is, it works. Yes, sometimes I think they are bubble heads but the entire show is good. Somehow they created a certain atmosphere different than other shows. I like them all, even their wierdness and dislikes.

I really enjoy this show...it's not the best thing on TV but it's fun.

This morning's show was a hoot. Joe is out and THANK G*O*D, Chuck Todd was there to pick up the slack. The panel would not let Mike get a word in edgewise. It seemed very obvious to me that they know that she is a lightweight. What an embarrasment she is to women IMHO.

Also...what is up with Mika begging for guests to come back on the MJ show and when she subs as host for David Gregory's show? One person told her..speak to my people and Axelrod told her that he could not believe that she was requesting appearances over the air like she did. Get rid of this nitwit!!

I only know that Morning Joe is Number 2 in his time slot. Someone out their in TV Land enjoys mindless entertainment. I must say that the two (2) times that I caught Zbigniew Brzezinski on the program he all but dared Joe to climb the ladder of intelligence. That was LOL funny!

The fact that it finally reached number two had nothing to do with the show. The Friday before it's ratings bonanza, Oprah mentioned Morning Joe on her show twice. The following Monday...WHAM..ratings were up. I suspect that once these same viewers get a load of this team of "anchors," they will go elsewhere.

I'm typically not one to comment but just registered so that I could chime in. I've been watching Morning Joe since last spring. Being in Arizona, MJ begins at 3am or 4am--depending on the time of year--and I've stayed up in order to watch it. Admittedly I have not followed politics much until this past year. I share the opinions of the majority here regarding Joe & Mika (and the Boy Wonder as well)... and am glad to know that I'm not alone! However, I do like Barnicle... and though I'm quite the liberal, I find Pat Buchanan to be less offensive--and more human--than Joe... which ultimately says more about Joe than about Pat. Mika is useless. She always claims to "see things differently" or is "not so sure [she] agree[s]" but never offers anything substantive. Mika's default comment for every topic is that there are so many "layers" or "dimensions" to [whatever]. What an astute observation! Whoa! They are so predictable that I found myself counting the number of times the phrase "having said that" or "with that having been said" was uttered during one broadcast.
Having said these things, I would now tell you exactly what I think of Joe and Mike--except that there are so many different dimensions to it.

Great comments and if "having said that" or dimensions and layers" were to be turned into a drinking game it would be so easy to be schlosshed by the third hour.
What I find after watching this show regularly through the long campaign is the outright dismissive, patronizing, and overall verbal abusiveness from Scarborough towards Mika and other women(Christia Freeland, etc) regulars on the show. It magnifies how females are treated in the workplace by one dominant, insecure, arrogant male. Mika is a co-host and her opinions have been countlessly dismissed, mocked, ridiculed and openly trashed by Scarborough and has led to her increasing use of "having said that's" and "layers" to squash and diffuse her having to defend the regular abuse of the mocking she takes. It's classic defensive stroking of the abuser to stop the situation and I wish she would stop enabling this bully.
I notice, with few exceptions, he doesn't push Andrea Mitchell since he knows who has the seniority .

And, the fact that Mika ALLOWS Joe and all the other guy's on that show, call her "Mommy" makes me want to hurl! Very dismissive and condesending. She encourages it though because she acts like a "Mommy" with her scolding Joe and rest whenever she feels they are not playing nice.

I emailed Joe to lose Mika, the 'scold' on the show. She says things like 'stop', 'don't go there' and other nonsense. She blurts her thoughts out loud like a homeless person on the street. She adds nothing to the conversation but annoyance. Willie just tosses out cheap shots on whatever subject.
I can't help but like Pat Buchanan even though I don't agree with many of his positions. He has a sense of humor and can laugh at himself plus he has a historical perspective that the younger ones lack and he can be objective when talking about Democrats. I've heard him say positive things about Hillary and Obama at time.

I saw Obama's uTube video of his speech on creating 2.5 million new jobs by 2011. It looked like a hostage tape and he was reading someone else's words. Weird.

Isn't this the guy who claimed that New Yorkers were "hostile" to him because he wore a "support McCain" t-shirt?.....when all they did was ignore him?

Think about that. No one asking him for bus fare to Albanybreakfast moneya cappuccino, no one offering to sell his pick of rolexes, no friendly guides to the finest in tantric therapy, and no one screaming down about worms in their ears. I mean, where's the love?

Gotta get me one of them shirts.

I agree Joe is a complete ass, Mika is his yes girl. Can anyone tell us what is Willie Giest purpose on the show, is he suppose to be "Eye Candy" or something. He sits there like a bump on a log and says very little or contributes the stupidest of jokes. The guest are the ones that makes this show what it is. I myself am aging when I agree more often than I should or care to with Pat Buchanan.

I would say Mika is more of a combination of eye candy and Joe's punching bag. She always says she has another take, but never makes a case. Unless it's about Sarah Palin. They all love Sarah!

Yes. And whoa, they never got her on the morning talk show!!!!

Ain't that the truth. I have been agreeing with Pat Buchanan more and more in the last two weeks. It's a Da*mn shame when Pat is the one with the most common sense on the panel!!

I thank God that the election is over. I don't have to watch Joe Scrumbagg whine about meanless issues while Mika thinks very......hard throughout the show. I'm done, I hope by 4 years MSNBC have replaced them.
