Palin Turkey Ad: Conservative Group Releases Thanksgiving Spot "Honoring" Palin (VIDEO)

From the department of awkward timing: Days after video of Sarah Palin's interview in front of slaughtered turkeys became a web sensation, the conservative group Our Country Deserves Better releases a Thanksgiving-themed ad "thanking" Palin.

The opening of the spot features an announcer praising Palin...in front of images of roasted turkeys.

Friends, too many times we've seen politicians who "sell out" to the media or political pressure and succumb to politically correct, liberal positions, rather than fight for conservative beliefs. But Gov. Sarah Palin has stood steadfast by her conservatism, both in public as a politician, and in her own private life - carrying to full term her baby boy, Trig, rather than opting out for an abortion as some would have had her done. She believed in the value of that life, just as she believes in the greatness of America.

It's time for us to stand behind Sarah Palin now, not just to support her, but to also show other politicians that if they take the risk to champion conservative ideals, that they will find support from we, the American people.

"Our Country Deserves Better" for what? I thought American Voter had decided since Nov. 4th.

Our country does deserve better - better than Sarah Palin - a woman who repeatedly lies without remorse (bridge to nowhere), who abuses her power as governor (troopergate), and who cheats her constituents by charging sleeping in her own home to her taxpayer-funded expense account and then does not report it on her income tax return. If these are conservative values, count me out.

The PAC's spokesman was just on MSNBC and said that all of us "on Huffington Post, Daily Kos, and Democratic Underground" have exploding heads and post vile, vitriolic language. (Referring to our reaction.) I can't believe these folks are serious; it's worse that they represent 26% of American voters..

What these dimwits don't seem to understand is Palin was not SMART ENOUGH to be considered vice president of anything. She proved herself to be ignorant of normal everyday world problems, ignorant of things she should know if she is to represent the USA, and ignorant of proper class and culture for someone holding that position. Palin is equivalent to a beauty pageant queen with looks and an ounce of knowledge. And most Americans knew that and would never have voted for her as VP. Those who don't know that are smittened by her looks and prowess and that's it. She riles up the wrong emotions in people and causes chaos and divisiveness among the masses. She will never bring all people together because of this and could never be a world figure. She would have to give the country some of that poi.soned koolade to get everybody to follow her into the abyss and that's not going to happen.

I am here because I heard Mark Williams declare on MSNBC that there was vitriol being spewed against Sarah Palin by crazed liberals who hate America and american values. These comments are really not living up to the hype he was spreading.

That's what they do. They did it all through the campaign. They can't come up with intelligent reasons to vote for their agenda, so they project their own shortcomings onto "liberals". The republican campaign was all about hate and spewing vitriol. They tried to incite violence against Obama. Sarah Palin was their cheerleader for hate-mongering. Obama remained cool and never sank to their level. That's why he won, and they just can't get over it.

A few minutes ago I saw the spokesman for this group say that the remarks on Huffington Post and other blogs have been vile, and racist. I haven't seen any racist comments here on Huff. I think Huffington Post should make a statement to this guy. The truth be said, Palin is the one who incited crowds with her remarks. Unbelievable.

And analyzing it from it's serious point of view on the 2nd viewing, they lost me at 'articulat­e'...

And as far as her son and his selfless Armed Forces service, there's nothing selfless or honourable about it. He was sent there in a plea deal to avoid prosecution with his buddies for cutting the brake lines in the entire Wasilla school bus fleet. It was nothing more than a plan to keep him out of sight and out of mind while his mother continued her fevered pursuit of power.

3. try and switch to being a democrat so as to get MEDIA PASS for fools
4. Encourage Palin to have an affair while SPOUSE IS DYING
5. have a BABY with lover and meet lover at 2:00am in hotel while holding baby
6 repeatedly lie to media about having affair
