New Senate President Says Democrats 'Have Embarrassed Ourselves' (VIDEO)

Incoming Illinois Senate President John Cullerton said Sunday the Democrats who control state government should be embarrassed by the constant fighting between the legislature and Gov. Rod Blagojevich that has led to a Springfield stalemate.

"We have been embarrassed. We have embarrassed ourselves with all the fighting between the governor and the legislature and the speaker and the president of the Senate. That's going to end," Cullerton (D-Chicago) told the congregation of Salem Baptist Church, the South Side mega-church headed by Rev. James Meeks, a fellow Democratic senator from Chicago.

I agree that they are arguing like a batch of fifth graders over which girl in school is the hottest but get away from that church you noob. Church is one of the main reasons we are so far behind in our progression of excepting people for who they are. They sure do talk alot about forgiveness yet never seem to practice it when it comes to people outside of their faith. That goes for almost all religions. Cause people sure did forgive the Pope when we found out he wrote a mass letter saying to not mention any molestations that may have occured until the statute of limitations was up. Last I checked that was a crime. Not too mention they are children, talk about going where its really hot after you pass away.
