David Letterman's "Top 10 List" tonight was Sarah Palin's top ten excuses. The list refers to the unfortunate interview that Palin gave right after she pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving. As Palin answered questions, a worker right behind her was slaughtering turkeys in a turkey grinder. Palin seemed oblivious to the gruesome events as she continued talking for three minutes. Watch Letterman's top ten excuses Palin gave for the turkey massacre.

The problem with Republicans is they only think about winning. Governing is secondary. That's why they were willing to put this woman a heartbeat away from the presidency. They thought she could help them win. It's why they get down in the gutter and wallow in lies and smears. He hates the troops, he's unpatriotic, he pal's around with terrorists, she's Godless, he's a socalist, they're not the "right" kind of Americans, and on and on. They trot out the same filth year after year and it finally caught up with them. Thank God.

PS: If PETA showed a video of slaughtered turkeys to make a point about Thanksgiving, would liberals be outraged? NO! I hate hypocrisy. It stinks. You guys are worse than the GOP. At least everyone can be safe in knowing that the country will stay the same...despite Obama's promises.

Well, I made smoked turkey and a standing rib roast for Thanksgiving....I guess I feel better because I purchased them at Whole Foods -- along with arugula -- already slaughtered and neatly packaged. Oh, how civilized. Sounds like death via needle rather than electricity.

Also, our new change president pledges to escalate slaughtering in Afghanistan and has assembled a team of hawks as his cabinet. Yet, all you guys can do is make fun of Palin. I thought I would never see liberals behave as pathetically bankrupt as conservatives. But I guess "change" has happened. Pat your meat-loving selves on the back. You chomp meet, but at least you're not from Alaska. Groovy.

Stop calling that device a turkey grinder! Idiots. It's a funnel-shaped holder that keeps the turkey immobile with its head and neck exposed. The worker then cuts its throat or cuts the head off, and lets it bleed out into the tank below. when it has bled out, he removes it and puts another one in to repeat the process. No turkeys were ground in the making of that video.

Funny thing:

I was watching this video the other day, which featured The Alaskan Governor, Sarah Palin being interviewed. What I found most impressive was her comments on the formulation of the 2009 state budget. Clearly as Governor she has showed great fiscal prudence in resisting expenditure expansion when oil prices were very favourable; instead she saved and used techniques such as forward funding to ensure that that Alaska would be in good fiscal shape when oil prices plummeted. Obviously a highly effective and efficient Governor.

Somebody asked me afterwards had I noticed something going on behind her--something about a turkey being murdered or something. Dunno--but it appears to have upset those good folk at the New York Times.

What the hell was being done to that poor turkey anyway? It looked to me like it was slowly being fed, live, into a meat grinder. I hope their is a local chapter of the SPCA....

I use to work with a guy who slaughtered turkeys, it is very simple, the turkey is shoved into a funnel, its head is pulled through the small opening, then a sharp squared shaped dagger is shoved into the turkeys mouth and rammed up its throat, then the dagger is twisted back and forth to bore out the inside of its throat, finally the dagger is removed and the turkey is allowed to slowly bleed out until its dead.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving folks.

No! Please David -- keep it up! I love this stuff. I had to endure the ignorance of "Sarah Palin is the most knowledgeable person IN AMERICA about energy"; "Obama is palling with terrorists"; "Who IS Barack Obama?"; "It's not mean-spirited to question Barack Obama's relationships with unpentant terrorists"; "Joe the Plumber, Joe the Plumber, Joe the Plumber"... yeah now it's our turn. Keep it up David Letterman. See? America is smarter than Republicans think. We voted overwhelmingly for the ticket with brains. But, we still have a sense of humor, so keep talking Sarah the Ignorant.

Okay..so it was Palin, the reporter, the camara man and the news station that taught America where their turkey dinner comes from...
If we are lucky, the media will allow it to be know that there is no Santa Claus named Obama...but I think that might too much for some to handle....kids.

Well, I don't care whose fault it was. All I know, is that when I got my turkey out today....pulled that neck out of the inside.....ugh. All I could think of was that turkey guy and that funnel...and that poor turkey. Then, at dinner, there he was again. Seriously. That guy has almost made me a vegetarian. Then, to make my night complete, I was online and stumbled across this on 23/6..and I have been laughing my head off ever since.

If you support Bush, McCain or Palin you have no problem with the thousands of babies killed in this fake war, so what is your point? But they are not the right religion so they don't count, eh? You are anti-abortion - not pro-life.

You do not know what we deal with when you speak of what goes on in terms of "killing babies" in war. You do not have a right to make this claim, as life and death decisions are made by the second, and sometimes mistakes are made, most times, the people of Iraq (I am not as familiar with Afghanistan) are usually many times better off

What is wrong with you people. She is a natural born leader and the Republican party should throw all their support behind her for 2012. What a great president she would be.

Signed

LOL! It's true what they say, isn't it? 60% of Republicans want Palin to run in 2012. 100% of Democrats want her to as well.

Except the ones who want to secede from the US, and who were sponsored by Iran at one point...

http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2008/10/07/palins_unamerican/

Not to mention managing to leave a town of 7,000 $19 million in debt* while talking about smaller government, using the Governor's office to pursue personal vendettas, repeatedly lying about the Bridge to Nowhere... God, I can't take it anymore.

Poor Smoothsail,

You're wasting your time with this crowd. You'll never get us to believe Sarah Palin is anyhting but exactly what she is. An IDIOT !!!!!! But I can see why you would think she's accomplished and responsible. I'm sure you thought the same of George W. Bush. Now go post where you can actually make a difference and get her nominated for 2012. Run along now you've got work to do.
