Ann Coulter's Guilty Book To Attack Obama Media

Ann Coulter's new, previously-confidential book will assail the media for being too pro-Obama, it was revealed Tuesday.

The book, Guilty: Liberal "Victims" And Their Assault On America, will be released the first week of January, and has been available for pre-order on Amazon.com with few details other than the author's name.

Drudge reports details about the book's content:

The book exposes and mocks, in graphic detail, the media's love affair with all things Democrat and Obama. Coulter presents exhibits A through Z.

"GUILTY is a much-needed reality check on a Left gone wild," declares the book's jacket.

"When it comes to bullying, no one outdoes the Left. Citing case after case, ranging from the hilariously absurd to the shockingly vicious, Coulter dissects so-called victims who are invariably the oppressors. For instance: While B. Hussein Obama piously condemned attacks on candidates' families, his media and campaign surrogates ripped open the court-sealed divorce records of his two principal opponents in his Senate race in Illinois."

Earlier Tuesday, the New York Post Page Six reported that Coulter's mouth is wired shut following a jaw injury.

Well it should sell about as well as her last book did. I'm surprised she could coerce a publisher this time around after her last book's woeful performance. The premise is lame but of course she doesn't want to talk about the media's obsession with Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, the First Dude et al. Hopefully her latest screed will crash 'n' burn too but you know the old saying: a fool and his money are soon parted. There will always be some Republican fools out there and as long as they are willing to part with their money, there will be Ann ready to take her cheap shots for money.

After the previous eight years, the press and just about everyone else couldn't get enough of someone with competence, quiet bravado, steady temperament, intelligence, and an outlook that says "come join in" as opposed to "keep out." Had McCain/Palin been able to exude that, they too would have probably been "favored" by the press.

The fact that the McCain camp served up softballs for the media/comedians to go after while the Obama camp ran a relatively error-/leak-free campaign probably helps to explain some of the "bias" that Coulter envisions. Even comedians are talking about the fact of how hard it is to come up with material on Obama whereas Bush and sometimes McCain and now almost all the time Palin, just gave them stuff for free ... especially stuff that the public would go over again and again.

Yes, the media loved Obama. They also loved McCain in 2000 and HE LOST.

The media loved Obama for the same reason he won: he was the better candidate and a stark contrast to the bizarro alternative universe created by the GOP-led White House for 8 years.

Journalists like facts. Despite the pack mentality, most jounalists can can think, write and form full sentences. Obama, with his 2 "authored" books, is one of them - a guy who actually has a thought in his head (remember a time when you didn't have to wonder if our leaders fit this basic requirement?).
