Laura Bush Offers Rare Look At White House Private Rooms (VIDEO)

On "Good Morning America" Wednesday morning, Robin Roberts talked to Laura Bush and got a preview of the History Channel documentary, "The White House Behind Closed Doors," which will air tonight. Mrs. Bush also shared details of her meeting with Michelle Obama, and revealed that daughters Jenna and Barbara jumped on beds with Malia and Sasha Obama during their tour.

The History Channel documentary is reminiscent of the iconic 1962 TV special "A Tour Of The White House With Jackie Kennedy."

I don't think they mean "secret" from an intelligence stand point. Just secret in the fact they are hidden away and become part of the room. Like she said they had to hide corners. Nothing secret about a china storage closet and not about the Obamas but then just my opinion.

She pronounced it correctly. People have accents and dialects. The Kennedys of New England...Lets not go there. Laura Bush is an educated, intelligent lady. I am an Obama supporter but there are some things even he pronounces differently than I do.

The only thing I will miss about Bush's presidency is Laura. She's always been gracious and kind. I wish her the very, very best.

Okay, I'm on a lib site and voted for Obama but I've always enjoyed the Bushes as a family. Not a good prez but he's always seemed a wonderful husband, father and son. Another good program I missed. Hope it reairs or can find it online.

I agree. Bush certainly has his crosses to bear but he is not a one dimensional character. I saw "W" even though I am a big Obama supporter because A) Anytime a renouned director does a film on a sitting Prez. I want to see it even for the artistic or pop culture value. B) I wanted to see what shaped Bush. He has been a gross embarrassment but even he has a family who loves him. He pulled himself up by his boot straps and turned his life around. That's the "W" Laura loves.
