Washington Times:

In the 22 days since winning the White House, President-elect Barack Obama has taken 22 questions from reporters and has done two sit-down television interviews.

The Democrat held his fourth press conference since Nov. 4 in Chicago Wednesday morning -- his third in as many days -- an unprecedented bit of access for reporters who have grown accustomed to President Bush's infrequent moments taking questions and already surpassing the last four presidents-in-waiting.

Unless you want your blood pressure to go up, don't log on to the Washington Times to "read the whole story"! There are some terrible people blogging there....total trolls and neocon fanatics!

I like what Obama is doing especially the part about him shutting out the Fake news channel Fox. I hope he keeps up givng them the cold shoulder as no one deserves it more. If Fox commentators can't tell the truth what is the sense in giving them the truth. Just a thought.

I thought with the headline it was going to say Obama has given more press conferences in 3 weeks than W. did in 8 years. Which would not have surprised me.

And by the way, if Obama does continue to conduct so many press conferences, he probably will break Bush's record before he takes office Jan. 20. LOL.

(I do have to admit that I didn't like Bush giving press conferences because I didn't really like what he had to say, nor how condescending he was.)

Oh now nice to finally have an intelligent coherent President who talks to the American people, and the media, with respect.

you ought to click on the link to read the entire story and read the comments from the neocon trolls posting to the washington times site. they're still listening to rush and still beating the dead horse to death about obama's birth certificate and how there is proof he was born in kenya.

there is a huge vacuum of leadership right now in the united states and he has had to step in and take control. i don't think he really wanted to as bush is still "president" (and i use the term in the broadest context possible) but bush has checked out, more so than normal.

it's nice to have a president who can actually speak in full, eloquent sentences and string together cohesive sentences to form a complete thought/or thoughts...astounding!

Barack stepped in to fill the economic vacuum of leadership. Will he have to do so to resond to the terrorist hostage siege in Mumbai, India as well? Just a thought...

Man, if I were Obama, I'd just want to head to Hawaii and relax until Jan. 20th. And that's why I'm glad he's president and I'm not.

No, that is wrong. The President Elect SHOULD be that available. It is the right thing to do, something the current pres knows nothing about.
