Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will attend the governors meeting next week with President-elect Barack Obama, her spokesman said this afternoon.

While Bill McAllister, Palin's spokesman, said he hadn't spoken to the governor at length about the meeting, he said he expects her to bring up energy issues.

Although I'm aware that it would be bad political form under the circumstances NOT to meet with her at some point during the conference (i.e. he'd be trounced in the media for it), if I were Obama I'd be really, really tempted to stand her up and go shoot some hoops with the brother-in-law for 2 hours instead.

Big Religion would love that. It would give them enough red meat to gnaw on for the next 4 years.

It will be interesting to hear/read what energy proposals she brings to the table, aside from opening ANWR to drilling and asking for more pipeline $ what "ideas" could she possibly have?

Maybe Pastor Muthee has found a way to turn wolf-paws and arrogant ignorance into oil through prayer and needs federal funding to perfect the process?

All the whiney trolls coming here trying to defend Sarah Palin are nauseating. It's so pathetic. They don't stand a chance.

An idea, while in Chicago, let's have Bill Ayers to "pall" with her. I just want a photo of the two together. She will never recognize him, of course. She will never guess, after all, she talked on the phone with Sarkozy...

She will bring "energy issues". As if she has a clue. Palin is like an Arab prince ruling over an oil kingdom. When the oil prices are up, they are very important. When the prices are down, they hide somewhere. How is she doing with state revenues recently as the oil is down?

What a stupid headline...... As far as Sarah Palin meeting with PE Obama, I just have 2 words for her:

Rahm Emanuel.

The only question remaing after that is how will he serve her up? Rare, medium rare, well done, or "OMG look at that mess". He is more than capable of watching our PE Obama's back.

She's already been served and now she wants some more? Get over it girl! You lost!

Not even a little a$$ kissing will do her any good.

This woman is getting too much AIR TIME - it's just fuel to feed her already huge ego. Her voice and her ridiculous rhetoric and repeating the same thing over and over and over (Pavlo's dog). If she's on TV, I hit the mute button. I wish the MSM would do the same.

She's a plane crash in slow motion and that's why she's still in the news - but after a while, it'll be burn, baby, burn. She's going to fade into obscurity and then that will be that... no more "you betchas".

I agree that the misleading headline does not do the articls justice.

But let's say that Obama did have the opportunity to meet with Palin one on one. If I were he I would have to say I would definitely not meet with her. She accused him of palling around with terrorists. If he were to meet with her he would be associating with one of our nation's greatest social terrorists.

The headline is mis-leading; it implies Palin is meeting with Obama one-on-one.

Actually, Palin is attending a meeting hosted by the National Governors Association. The meeting is hosted by NGA Chair and Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell (Pennsylvania) and Vice Chair Republican Gov. Jim Douglas (Vermont). Palin is just 1 of some 40 governors who have thus far announced plans to attend.

The meeting will include a discussion on the economy with President elect Obama and Vice President elect Biden--all of the governors in attendance will participate.

I get so sick of these misleading, lying headlines. It's a governors convention, people.

Listen when Sarah Palin is giving interviews. She will hear a word spoken from the interviewer and adopt the word and use it throughout the remainder of the interview. She parrots new words and use them repeatedly, almost to the point that the word becomes sickening before the interview ends. She learns a new word every interview. You can tell when she hear a word that was not a part of her vocabulary because she never use the word prior to hearing it and once she hears it, she never stop using it. Her true abilities were on display when she spoke at the Governor's meeting in Florida. She had to actually use the same talking points from the campaign because she has no original thoughts.

I wonder if she's going to take the entire clan with her to Georgia and PA. Free vacations for the Palin family courtesy of Alaska!

Wow, if that's the case I bet she can speak at least 10 foreign languages in no time.

NOT!
